I have Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD but 3 & 4 have no physical release...

i got the whole show saved on a flash drive in HQ. been meaning to transfer them to Blu-ray discs and create my own season sets

but even when i get around to doing that, it won’t feel right without having commentaries, outtakes and all that good stuff

I doubt Donald would do all that even if we wanted it honestly...

there’s a chance you are right but he did Community commentaries and he’s discussed making the show hella times at panels

i think Hiro Murai and some of the cast would also have been willing based on these

and i’ve seen the other writers like Stephen Glover and Stefani Robinson discuss the show and their creative process during print interviews. this leads me to think we could have gotten some nice BTS material for a boxed set if Disney cared enough

Damn Vanessa has the biggest fall off of any character. Started out strong then got fired and man did she become annoying and unhinged. Earn was just trying to build his and alfred's career meanwhile vanessa gets fired for smoking weed and goes off the rails while putting earn down

Imagine your mom has a psychotic break in Europe while she's "taking a break " from parenting while your dad is working

Earn was a f***in a****** to Vanessa in season 1 and 2 bruh lol

He was on a****** vibes in ‘Juneteenth’ and ‘Helen’

Earn knew Van had an important opportunity for a job, and the night before he slept with another woman and then woke up next morning and completely forgot where he needed to be .
And he smoked weed right before, so he smelled like weed as well . And the whole time he was there he was being passive aggressive af

And in ‘Helen’, bruh was being extremely jealous and petty

I’m not saying Van didn’t have faults, but Earn f***ed up A LOTTTTT. He was constantly playing with Van’s feelings and she was under appreciated af

i would argue that Earn was returning the same energy that Van was giving him

even in their very first scene together in the show, we see how dysfunctional the relationship is on both ends. they wake up together and Van is asking him to tell him he loves her, only to throw in his face that she’s going on a date w another dude

Earn’s attitude was f***ed up in the Helen ep but Van seemed to enjoy making him feel like an outsider just to have some semblance of an upper hand in their relationship at that point

they both were f***ed up partners, not just Earn

But Van definitely cleaned up her act in season 4…. and Earn did the right thing by finally stepping up and making it clear to her that he was ready to 100% commit and that he was done playing games

It’s already happening now, but the cultural relevance of this show will continue on for at least a decade. Probably even grow more tbh. I’ve already been seeing on my timeline people will upload random videos and be like “That’s a whole episode of Atlanta”. It’s too accurate to everyday situations niggas go through
