Stove god cooks would be a good fit on Griselda and low key he should use the stove firing up like he does on one more hit as his trademark like bennys “the butcher comin’”

Not as good as the first one but still pretty enjoyable. My favorite tracks so far are probably Lil Cease, Buffs vs. Wires & Drive by Love. I'm definitely not disappointed. I mean it was obvious that this wasn't going to be a PfP tier project.

The Armani Caesar feature was kinda fire. Im excited for her project, I hope it's over some grimy and soulful beats.

If she's being directed by West it should be fine.

I think initially Griselda fans thought she reminded them of a Megan, Nicki, and Cardi, aka mainstream. I think there is a way to make that not as obvious, like getting a stylist for instance. But basically I'm not trying to see a chick twerk to Daringer production.

Does she have any other musical talents liking singing or making beats?

He’s not on the level of the 3 Griselda dudes but he’s nice on here imo, his album is also top 10 of the year so far, with some coaching, nice production, better artistic direction and some Griselda features he could legit put out a really nice album. What don’t you like about him? I think he’s got potential listening to his roc produced album

Hes straight jacking other niggas bars. I wasnt feeling that, I wont lie.

That first tape should've been an EP. Its slot to digest and it all tends to blend together.

Hes nice but I prefer the joints on this tape versus the songs on RD.

He is, but is not massively excessive, jay z used to do that s*** all the time in the early 00’s. It’s just paying homage, or at least that how I see it.

Yeah quite a few but i don’t think he’s trying to pass them off as his own, more so paying homage

Jay has more then enough classic bars where it doesnt seem like hes jacking

New niggas spitting Drake choruses on their tapes doesnt sit well with me.

If he grows beyond that and keeps this kind of aesthetic, he should be good but like someone said, hes not a top tier type lyricist anyway and his vibe isnt distinct enough at this point for him to become the next "guy".

Nah I don’t think he’s going to be a big start by any means, but he could have a few nice albums with the right direction. Back when jay was doing that he only had a couple of albums out, but I know what you’re saying, he does need to progress beyond it, and I do prefer his verses in this that RD tbh

    His adlibs, lmao.

I guess it's fun to listen to him and I don't know his story or past, but his d*** bars aren't believable like a Benny or Boldy, or funny like a Conway, or even interesting/different like a Mach. It just really depends on what production he's spitting on and fortunately, it's been on Roc Marciano and Griselda beats.

I agree, I wouldn’t wanna listen to him over bad production, but like I said with the right direction and production he has potential

Hes got a big advantage by having the two artist really responsable for the resurgence of this whole wave painting the backdrops for him. All his has to do is rap on beat and hes gonna get a buzz.

  • Jul 4, 2020

This was better than original. He needs to take a break tho. Let con and Benny do a roll out of a couple tapes. Then come back for gunnlib

idk much about her. I checked like two of her older songs when she got signed and they were horrible tbh. I think she only raps tho.

I read something about her on HHDX a few weeks ago and she said that she's gonna release an EP that got the Griselda sound but her album gonna be more like a mix of that and her older stuff iirc.

I think it could work to put her on Daringer beats tho. Someone compared her verse to Lil Kim earlier in this thread and she had some grimier tracks back then like Mafia Land. Maybe Armani should go a similar route if that makes sense

She was definitely connected with the camp from.back in the day. There's a video of Benny rapping with some niggas from the early 00's and she's in the video too.

Shes a faux Foxy with none of the charisma or personality. You can write her raps but without that, idk if it matters.

To be on a label with Griseldas pedigree, she needs some work but I won't write her off just yet.

He’s the funniest with the d*** bars tho—“If I become an author my s*** gonna be called To Whip A Bird“

I think what makes him interesting is his unorthodox his delivery. Like it sounds really natural and not so calculated

Exactly, let's wait for her Griselda debut first. That verse definitely gave me more hope to get some decent music than I initially had.

Che Noir would've been such a great addition to Griselda imo. I'm glad Spesh signed her tho. His production fits her pretty well. Her album with Apollo Brown is gonna be amazing.
