given the current circumstances, would you say this album has aged well? i think this album marked a change in ye's attitude and is personally in my top 3 kanye albums
Half of it did. The other half didn't necessarily age bad but it just didn't stand out enough to be deemed "essential" imho.
Ghost Town, Violent Crimes, ITAKY, and Wouldn't Leave are good/great songs with strong replay value.
But the rest? Meh.
KSG and Daytona outshined the album and aged better as whole projects.
That said, Ye's vulnerability and introspection on the album was very strong and honestly the best part of the album. It's too bad the music was more hit or miss than the emotion behind it.
It's funny you mentioned the album in lieu of Ye's recent antics cause it can honestly go both ways. Violent Crimes is still a classic song but Ye ended up being the very nigga he was dissing on the song lol.
if this is top 3 ye you are not a serious person
I like it. It came out a time when I was going through something mentally, and a few of the songs spoke to me a lot
i need you nailed to a cross with salt poured on your wounds for saying its top 3 ye
I love it personally. I remember a girl I knew in high school was completely obsessed with it. The youth are all over it too.
Kanye fans always want to put his worst albums in their top 3 so they can act like he never fell off. No sane person thinks this is better than CD LR Grad or MBDTF.

Was always massively overhated and the absolute garbage he's been dropping since Donda just makes it sound more creative and inspired in comparison
