Ali was talking to the Rue inside all of us.
that part about forgiveness struck a nerve in me
halfway through this i kept thinking "the writers are trying to turn rue into arthur flek"
Hands down the best episode of the series. Almost felt like this was a therapy session for all of us in 2020. Ali deserves an emmy for this and Zendaya obviously is always point. This episode shows how unreliable Rue’s character is when it comes to her narration. This is basically an episode calling out her BS. The writing was great.
That was great. Came here to say whoever wrote Ali’s dialogue is a GOAT. If you didn’t like that episode you have a TikTok ass attention span.
wow this was deep as hell. really powerful episode crazy good writing
ali is a legend felt like he was speaking to me. this was therapy fr
love episodes like this but knowing the audience for this show this will be too boring for them
"There are so many revolutions now. everyone's a revolutionary"Ali got that right
Also this makes me think I don't talk to my elders or fam enough. just sit down and talk
whole episode was like this meditation or therapy session. plus it comes at Rue's most vulnerable. her contemplating suicide
can I ask
what the f*** are you looking for out of this show if not that?
like that was almost perfect. absolutely incredible episode. the writing (which was one of the biggest flaws of S1) was astoundingly good, the soundtrack amazing as usual, stunning visuals and incredible acting
nate is unlikeable from the first second on screen
Nate was a ktt1 favourite tho
finally found a f***ing link
pass that
