anyway i kinda was able to enjoy this episode more than last week's. i wasn't stuck distracted thinking about how outrageous it was.
the scenes with cassie and her mother really were good, whew that b**** is LOUD. nate and his mom's talk was interesting too, pretty realistic
Was Nate’s mom suggesting that his dad or someone else molested him or something?
This is what I took from it, too. Would explain a lot. But then in basically the next scene Rue as a narrator said that it technically wouldn't be true to call Cal a pedophile . Wasn't there a discussion on here after the last episode about how Rue would get some things wrong in her narration because it's actually just from what her character knows though?
You gotta watch this show like you’d watch Twin Peaks.
Not the strongest episode.
Felt transitional. A few standout developments, but also some padding.
I like Nate because he’s like a Nicolas Winding Refn character.
I don’t really know what point they’re trying to make with Kat.
Like, I guess they’re trying to show how she wanted nothing but attention, but now that same attention means nothing to her, so she’s lashing out at this realization and acting like a total b****. Which, is kind of a bold take, that I want to appreciate, because it’s lowkey realistic toxic femininity. But it’s gotten such little development, that it has not been communicated like it should have.
Ali is really well written, loved him being empathetic to Gia.
I think Cassie’s thing is like, she’s completely self-destructive, and that’s why she likes Nate, cause he can destroy her. I view this plot line from a Twin Peaks lens and it makes more sense.
Lexi and Fez. 😍 I want the world for Lexi cause she reminds me of myself. But what are the odds this relationship ends like the Drive Elevator Scene, where she sees Fez stomping a skull to bits? Looks like she doesn’t know what she’s getting into there. 🤷♂️
thought fez f***ign up nate would be the end of them flirting, happy its gone on tho
Was that a camera in the clock of the house where Maddy babysits??
Yes

There was some sort of “you’re on camera” sticker on the wall too.
Nate likes Jules the most because his dad f***ed her ? Like Jules Nate love ISNT well developed or logical
You gotta realize Nate and Jules were technically in a relationship. Everything Nate said was true he started catfishing her to protect his dad but somewhere down the line he genuinely caught feelings for her. Not that hard to understand
I'm years behind but I'm fw the music direction and the way each episode of the first season plays an intro to each character
Really, really, really hope the Mouse s\*\*\* doesn't catch up to Fezco
We need Faye to help

Nate allegations aside, real question is would Cal still have f***ed Jules if he knew her real age? I honestly think yes.
I didn’t really care about maddy until last episode but now i want her..
Well it’s too late cus I got her now. I think Cassie available
thought fez f***ign up nate would be the end of them flirting, happy its gone on tho
Naw you can tell Lexi wants some type of excitement in her life

Don’t think so tbh, based on how he reacted when he found out she was still in high school in the carnival episode

How crazy of a plot twist would it be if they really gave Kat the disease and killed her off
Are the characters at the last year of High School?
Will season 3 take place in college?
Doubt Rue would be accepted in College tho
