THIS SHOW IS SALVADOR DALI MEETS A D*** ADDICT RETELLING OF HIGH SCHOOL
THIS IS ISNT REAL
THIS ISNT HAPPENING IN SOME REAL HIGH SCHOOL
THIS ISNT BASED ON A TRUE STORY
Now if you say "That writing was out of character for how a character has progressed" I get you and thats fair but breaks immersion is odd. How are high schoolers supposed to see themselves yet alone d*** users besides a psychadelics episode, play, someone telling them about themselves?
Aight what the f*** are y'all talking about specifically on "BREAKS IMMERSION"
like everything is your opinion and I respect this but no part of this show has tried to immerse you in reality
I feel ya.
I always felt it was unfair when euphoria was criticized for not being a realistic teenage experience. It was never trying to be.
But still, the investment, and the buy in, we give to any piece of media, is on a spectrum. You can’t just say, oh, this show isn’t aiming for realism, and have every line be whatever is cool. The show actually has dialogue that often feels real. Within a heightened world.
But there’s a line, there’s levels to it.
So my line is the play.
I don’t like it as a narrative device.
I don’t like it mythologizing the characters.
I don’t like what it means for this world.
And I still don’t know exactly why I come down so hard on this, or what exactly I expected, but that’s how it shakes up.
nah idg why niggas watch a show if they don’t like it s*** makes no sense
I love this show, I’ve been riding this shows d***, I just don’t like this episode. Don’t be a weird reactionary YouTube comment tier commenter.

At least you self aware I guess

nah there are parts of the show that doesn't connect with me but I like the discussion it isn't in the binary of like or not. I just wanted to grasp why they didn't like the play or felt it was cheap
Idk I feel like if they was really gonna kill off fez they wouldn’t show him in the trailer kinda like how they did ashtray..
why are they laughing? that s*** is so homophobic
why are they laughing? that s*** is so homophobic
Cuz Nate
Cuz it was a spectacle
why are they laughing? that s*** is so homophobic
I don't know if you are quoting the show or serious
calling out the h****erotic tendency of hyper masculinity which is often toxic is in no way homophobia
Rethinking the Cal/Nate thing.
Think they mentioned he first found Cal’s p*** when he was 8 and then his mother said last episode that he just changed up around that time.
Thinking that his sexual mindset was built early on by watching his dad have s***with men and that’s why when he tries to think/dream about s***with other women his dad creeps in.
They wouldn’t have spent an entire episode trying to humanise a child molester.
Maybe considering Alexa Demie in her 30s playing a teenager
Would be sad tho
Is there any evidence at all about her bring 30
Cassie is the worst. Shorty is confused. Think that reaction by Mandy is worse than anything else
The character once she hits her 20s is gonna regret everything
Wait this wasn't the finale !?
Dudes been saying last episode for like the last 2 episodes f*** u
We gonna find out about Cal next week? What about the plug that Rue ran off on? Seems like there’s too much to be neatly resolved in a one hour episode
Finale deserves to be 1hr 30
Wait this wasn't the finale !?

Yeah in the same way when you watch p*** you begin to get used to both actors regardless so in a way it was his introduction to p***. His dad is oddly his lexington steele
. So I think in my opinion that is why he truly sees Jules as the top because he wants to be like his dad
