so they chose to kill Ashtray because the amount he would age by next season would be too noticeable compared to the rest of the characters with him being so much younger
do the ppl on that podcast actually work on the show or is that just what they assuming? didn’t listen and not going to lol
Season 3 not coming till 2027 at this point
bruh im not tryna wait long anymore
i was in the same grade as these niggas when the show started im gonna finish college by the time next season comes out lmao
So yea its seems like all the last minute decisions was the main reason this season suffered from inconsistencies
Seems like Sam just didn't have a clear vision for this season and was just going with the flow day by day.
Mans needs to really sit down and plan out all of season 3, storyboards and all
what would you guys like to see in s3

damn im def in the minority when i say that this season went really well story wise, better than s1
Sam really just making this show depending how he feels on the day
And Ashtray wasn’t supposed to get shot. That was another thing. He wasn’t supposed to get shot! It was Fez that was supposed to get shot at first, which is crazy. And then, like a day before, they changed the storyline to me getting shot.

What about when Ash accidentally shoots Fez? Was that originally in the script?
I don’t think that was always there. It was kind of written — the whole thing — like a day before.
this headline still a whole ass spoiler lmaooo
There are similar traits but it ain't that close
Yeah they sorta look alike in Macs later years but for most of his life Mac didnt look like Fez
They should give rue a storyline that doesnt involve d****
She has no personality besides d**** and jules

they are writers in the industry who know and have interviewed cast/staff members and seen most of the episodes early

She'll show like brief flashes of charisma every now and then, but that's mostly a result of Zendaya being Zendaya.

I think they to lean in more on the stylistic surrealist stuff, they kind shied away from it half-way through this season. With some exceptions like, Kat dancing and Rue and Lexi's scene during the play.

Yeah let rue have more funny moments, zendaya is funny as hell
Also every plot doesn’t have to be literally traumatic 😭😭 like let characters have some good moments
ash funeral scene would be fire
need fez in s3 too

More fourth wall slideshow scenes/cut-away gags >>>>

Nah imma be honest overall I enjoyed season 2 more than 1. It had some of my favorite cinematography ever, and the dark tone and emotional moments were phenomenal. But I also have to admit that there were inconsistencies in this season, and I think its mainly because Sam made too many last minute changes and because he wasn't writing out storyboards ahead of time
If Sam wouldve planned out all the scenes way ahead of time, this season could've been top tier imo.

the highs overshadows the lows and i never expect a show to be perfect

yeah i agree, the cinematography/shooting on film added a lot for me. had some of my fav visuals ever. and im a sucker for darker s*** so the stories also made it way better for me than s1.
i think the first half was very mid tho, felt pretty directionless without context of the last half. i deadass thought it was the worst lmao. episode 5 and after were so good to me tho tbh i wouldn't change anything.

yea exactly
haven't watched the show but i have a little crush for zendaya soo, i love my fiance but for zendaya
Only qualms about this season was that the Nate and Cassie storyline was dragged for too long. Needed more maddy and kat scenes. If only there wasn’t bts problems this season would’ve been more well rounded tbh
Crazy if true

Cal was way more menacing and ominous in Season 1. It felt as if he could’ve easily been the main anatagonist of this show, but for whatever reason the writers really made him seem like a little b**** that got pushed around this season
What was the reasoning behind emphasizing the fact Nate had a loaded gun on him when he confronted his dad I wonder
makes me think next season will have Nate start directly where this left off after his dad’s arrest.
Maybe going straight to Jules’ house with that gun?

I think this season made him more complex and nuanced instead of being an all out villain.
Mans was out f***in on prostitutes every night and it was obvious he had a lot of bottled up problems that needed to be addressed
