Still can’t believe dude in the beginning possibly got himself erect so they could broadcast it on HBO.
If it’s a real d***, dude basically had to fluff himself inbetween takes.
that one guy taking a s***
Way better than the rue episode imo
after watching, it was not, but its solid. Rue ep is my favorite of the entire show easily

after my a***ysis, the first one is def a prop and other one is real
I try to just forget that these ppl are in high school, which is pretty easy cus they are never at school in this show lol
You know you can get away with CW level's of setting and themes with some good actors and good soundtracks playing in the background lol.
Saw some dude tweet, "why can't b****es at my highschool look like this?"
tbh This s*** was pretty close to my high school experience but I also grew up in a big city, I'd say the only "unrealistic" part of this show is the rate of crazy s*** happening every day it seems like, not one day goes by without incident, but that wouldnt make for good tv if that was the case would it
I went to a wack ass high school then I didnt get anything close to this experience until College
Nah. Zendaya plays the junkie real well and Mac Miller gotta be from the hood, doesn’t even seem out of character
Mac
I agree with him, but he wasn't as prominent a character last season, but he was definitely a scene stealer. Glad he got all this spotlight on this episode, and he did all his scenes justice.
I'm a bit torn on Zendaya/Rue, I don't know if it's her or the way her character is written but I get a bit bored of her? I don't know how to explain it, I can't tell if it's her or her character that tires me lol. I get more invested in Maddy/Cassie's reactions to situations than I do with Rue because I know how she'll react 95% of the time. And again, I don't know if that's down to how her character is written or if it's down to her acting.

It’s her character. She’s a junkie and annoying af. She keeps on making the same bad decisions, is a nuisance and has no identity beyond being a junkie and being addicted to Jules. Shorty stays getting played by Jules but still goes back apologizing at that.
Nah he dropped out at 20, Lexi is a 17 year old junior
20 & 17 is perfectly fine
Abides by the magic rule/formula
Divide your age by 2 then add 7. That’s the lowest age you can date
I feel like the dude who plays Nate is leagues above everyone else in the show, the intensity he brings in every scene he's in is wild.
most essential character to this shows success
Wtf just found out Lexie is judd apatow’s daughter
i literally just watched a video on nepotism in hollywood before i read this

I feel you, I'll pay more attention to her this season.

Bro if I’m going on three years removed from high school I’m not dating a junior that’s still there

Lol it's rampant. There was a thread on reddit about it a few days ago and the names that kept popping up were wild. Some real close knit circle type s***. Some of them are actually really f***ing talented but with others, once I saw their names listed it made sense how they got cast.
that one guy taking a s***
lmao "youre so f***ing hot. im still gonna take this s*** tho"
