the stakes have unfortunately been gone a long time ago, but this season just completely threw away with them by the end of it. just 0 stakes for any of the power players in the show. even if they all died and did not come back in this make believe simulation, who really cares when in the end the real world is destined for extinction lol.

stubbs death was disrespectful

maeve served as a glorified henchmen this season

they forgot about clem so had to write her in and out of the last episode

the frankie and caleb arc while emotional fell flat for me. not sure why they did not choose to have a real caleb survive all those years because they did not give enough time or justice to the complex idea of C growing up and then reuniting with a host of her dad. it just fell flat with how we were given it.

MIB dialogue was actually despicable in this episode and made a mockery of the character "fucking camper 🤓 we're on expert mode now 🤓" albeit the scenes with him and Hale were easily the best in the episode.

the sublime has been poorly explained the entire show

nonetheless excited for a final season if there is one, but the direction needs to be laid out and clear from the jump, otherwise i'll have difficulty finding any reason to care about this make believe simulation

i think s2 is incredible

but yeah everything after is awful.

S2 really asks some cool questions, executes them well, and gives you cool insight as to the real reason the park was made

Williams descent should be a case study of white people's savior complex, main character complex, and God complex.

Started so good, and we seemed to understand what was going on

But the last 2-3eps were literally s***, like i don’t even see the direction for the next season

Is season 5 just going to be a fake world/simulation designed by Dolores? Is the real world over? And is it just going to be teddy and Dolores, and new characters? Plus we needed more clementine

for the tech it brings to the table and questions it asks about said tech, its wonderful. some of these people saying the seasons aren't worth watching are being overdramatic.

season 1 and 2 are great. season 3 is a bit of filler, and season 4 lacked solid direction, that i believe is due to the most uncertainty the show has faced yet on whether it will be picked up for a 5th and likely final season or not.

all seasons are extremely watchable, ask cool questions about tech we easily could see sometime in the future, and have memorable characters. obvi season 1 is in rare air, but the rest of the show is worth watching. even though it is filler, i think season 3 asks really really cool questions about freedom.
