So essentially like what they just did but without the finance bro stimulus?Nah this is a different situation because the hedge fund is shorting it so essentially the hedge fund owes a certain amount of GameStop stock and this is pumping the price up so that when the deadline for paying back that stock comes the price is high and the hedge fund has to pay a huge amount to stock owners to fulfill that contract
When it’s a pump and dump usually there’s nothing like this happening it’s just people trying to give a reason for a stock to rise and then selling when they profit

I'm full on into cryptocurrency tbh, I dont really mess with stocks ever. I would have gotten into GME if I knew what I do now.
Cryptos are wild though, 5-10xs are pretty common. But also dangerous asf cause it's completely unregulated and scams happen all the time

NoirYeah I was tempted to ride this wave but the better thing to do is read up on businesses that are getting shorted at an unreasonable level and see if there's any organized momentum to buy in. This WILL happen again, it worked too well the first time, but most short squeezes aren't like this. It will take some time before we see another one like this.
