Embarrassingly cheap b******s ITT.
If you can't afford to tip don't go out to eat, there's nothing more to it than that.
He doesn't like that the system allows for employers to underpay their staff and make them rely on tips to live a quality life.
He doesn't mind tipping the people who need it.
? He’s specifically said like three times he refuses to tip because “he can’t afford it”
Embarrassingly cheap b******s ITT.

Classist
i think everyone who thinks this country should be totally socialist should be shipped out to Venezuela for a year
Money. Money that I worked hard to get.
I look at it like if they provided me a good service I don’t mind tipping my hard earned money.
It’s really not that serious.
Y’all overthinking it

I said I usually tip 25% 😭 what are you talking about
Classist
Nah it's just cheap and rude if you can't throw in a few dollars extra for a $20 meal
I don’t like the system that forces people to tip. Keep up.
the fact u dont know how tip wages work speaks for itself
I said I usually tip 25% 😭 what are you talking about
Im not talking about you

Same but like I’ve been saying. You’re not entitled to more of my money just for doing your job.
i beg some of you in this thread to develop some nuanced thinking or at least SOME perspective
I usually tip very well but I have more than enough money so it is what it is.
I understand not wanting to tip if you don’t have a lot of money but I also feel like you should probably avoid costly services that expect tips. Don’t get a $250 meal if you can’t tip at least 20%.
I also think tips should be service based but I usually always tip unless service was awful. If service was good I often go beyond 20%.
I don’t get how the meal price equates a higher tip tho.
I completely get if it’s a big group then for sure.
But if someone goes and gets a $100 steak, why should the tip be higher? No offense to any server but I feel work put in to bringing that steak out is the amount of work done in bringing out a $12 steak
In Brazil they don’t tip the workers. Service is trash 8/10 times. Food be alright but they take forever to get back to you if you need something if they remember

No I'm agreeing with you

So don’t tip doordash

Sure no one is entitled but you’re still a d*** for not tipping lol simple as that

Wells thats food...IN BRAZIL
Same but like I’ve been saying. You’re not entitled to more of my money just for doing your job.
Oh we totally agree on the entitled part
So don’t tip doordash
I do tip door dash because that's a service they're providing you. I also try not to do door dash or anything like it unless absolutely necessary though because they rip off restaurants.
I know the name but have no familiarity with him lol commentator guy?
I agree somewhat, unless you going crazy everyday spending $100 on dinners everyday i get it, but $20 once in a while isn’t going to do much in the long run
That's very fair, I don't think you in particular are the "problem"
Think the topic at hand is more so with people who eat out routinely
just so i can get an idea. your bill is $15, sever comes to take your order, fill your water once or twice and to check in on you, and brings you your food and check, how much are y’all tipping? this scenario i guess i’ll describe as baseline service.
