Nov 7, 2025It's annoying as hell that people pretend like they're not on equal playing fields. Andre's just a more far out guy and not as active which creates a mystique around him. Big Boi brought the same quality to Outkast records as Andre did. Ironically the only people who don't acknowledge that are people who don't really listen to Outkast in the first place.

Big Boi and Schoolboy Q are great rappers, but Andre 3000 and Kendrick Lamar are aliens who don't come around very often.

Part of the reason he always gives him his flowers (obviously it's deserved) is because he has cost Big Boi millions of dollars and continued success by walking away from the game & refusing to tour (besides the reunion run, which 3K even said was for money & he felt bad as it made him feel like a sellout)

Styles put out better albums and is just as skilled as Jada but Jada has more standout verses.

I’m team MJG over 8Ball too. His flow and rhyme schemes are just unmatched by anyone ever if I’m being honest. Sometimes he doesn’t even really be saying anything but he makes it sound so good anyway.

Hate to say it but yeah.
I mean Big Boi dropped a 10/10 solo rap album in 2010 and dropped more good projects on top off his Outkast work and features.
Andre does have a more unique flow and more standout verses but the talent level is the same and Big Boi has technically made more hip hop projects.
It's the Jadakiss vs. Styles P scenario all over again. Jadakiss has more standout verses and a better rap voice while Styles P is just as skilled and made better albums than Jada.
It ironically goes to show just how much features affect perception hip hop. If Andre didn't go on the feature run he did, nobody would be ranking Andre and Antwan over each other.
