  • Is 17 miles - 20 minutes to far of a commute ??

There’s a gym 5 minutes closer but too many people. Would you travel the extra 15 minutes for an elite gym ??

  • if u trying to do something every day consistently it better be a 15 min trip maximum. im not driving across the city for a gym

    17 miles is insane lmao

All you really need is a barbell, a power rack, and a bench. All the extra s*** is cool and all but unnecessary. I’m not adding 40-50 minutes of driving back and forth plus time worked out to my day.

My gym is 5 minutes away. My secondary gym which has more s*** including strongman stuff is only 10 minutes away.

  • 5 minutes

  • For me 20 minutes but I like going to the gym so not a big deal to me. For most people who are kind of forcing themselves to go, under 15 min should be the distance, otherwise you'll use the gym being far as an excuse not to go
