If I’m generous with myself I’d say maybe 10%-20% of the music I listen to is by women.
What would you say is your ratio and if it’s a high or low percentage what do you think it says about your music preferences?
Are men less able to relate to a woman’s perspective / taste / voice or it’s just about women being less dominant in certain genres? (Or both)
Also name your most played women artists.
(After checking my top artists mine would be: Paramore, SZA, PinkPantheress, FKA twigs and Nia Archives).
And if we make it specifically about female rap how much of it do you regularly listen to?
do you think it’s in a better place than male rap and why?
Wild guess I’d say35-40%. I like it when girls sing the most so a lot of bands I listen to are normally of the fefo variety

Are you homosexual? I only ask because 90 percent men singing into your ear is wild bro
maybe about 50% ?
maybe higher, idk, most rap and heavier music I listen to seems to be men vocalists (maybe a 70/30 split at the most), but if anyone in a group being a girl/nb counts the percentage is higher.
I have no idea what gender a lot of musicians I listen to are
Bout 40%
I'm digging Doechii a lot, her music is so tuff
Also getting into Clairo now
Tems is good
Beth Gibbons album was nice
Have checked out Chapelle Roan for the first time today and I'm liking what I'm hearing
Charli XCX new album was lean and mean
Just got into Sasha Keable and she is...woo Chile, her voice got soul
I'm not really into the plugnb scene, men and women, and prefer old Skool, but I'd say the women are doing their thing from the artists I've just listed.

I don’t have any comeback except I don’t think it’s that wild
i restricted myself to only listening to women this march and then future dropped two albums
so we’ve been back to 0%
A good amount lately. Been really liking salute, Clairo, Remi Wolf, Thank You I'm Sorry, and Cruza lately
me listening to whoever is in my to-listen album playlist says that I dont fetishize my consumption choices I guess
