    Contact rights holders and writers

But obviously you not finna get a reply as a smaller artist from a major but how would you avoid getting your song taken down when it blows?

Throwing this in the dark on the rare chance that anyone on here has experience with this

    Just put it out

Its not gonna get flagged, and if it does the song will probably have enough traction by that point you can offer rights or try to negotiate or just take the L but ur most likely gonna be good tbh

    Oh s*** lmfao thats crazy
I guess if ur samples r getting flagged its a sign you’re doing pretty well too

  • It’s happened plenty of times, artist doesn’t get sued or works out a deal until after the song blows up

Atleast by then there’s some bread/label backing

If you’re being serious, use a licensing service to do it on your behalf as a smaller artist and document everything. Best of luck!

The only time u gotta worry about this is if you putting unauthorized remixes on streaming platforms. (Cause u messing with folks acapocos.)

Otherwise it’s a good ol game of “catch me if you can.”

Lil B has 1.1m monthly listeners with 99% uncleared samples and beats from other rappers. I don't think any of his albums/songs have ever been taken down
