yup.
its a massive love/hate relationship with game. he has helped n done a lot but also ruined and f***ed up a lot as well.
Game also f***ing up all the artists that was suppose to come after him with dre such as Bishop Lamont, Jon Connor, King Crooked, Slim the Mobster and a few others - but Dre took a backseat after the headache n issues with Game which led to them getting shelved, no support or leaving which made a massive hole of the at time crop of CA artists that was suppose to be following after Game.
Similar thing happened to the bayarea where a few artists we're suppose to follow after Mac Dre but fater he died a lot of label and buisness support pulled out of the bay leaving those artists high n dry plus the mini civil war of bay vs la in the 2000s.
the two major parts for why CA died in mainstream rap for a bit of time outside of game, snoop and e40 - until online era of nipsey, dom kennedy, yg, jay rock and kendrick from 2009/2010 and on.
mac dre and game's n their class of the half of dozen artists of each that was suppose follow right behind them is what was suppose to be the 2000s west coast. but one died, and the other was a bipolar hothead. both situations ended up losing CA's national connection, business and support on both sides of the state.
