yep yep, been saying it. She was way more interesting when she was the cute innocent girl.
Her current persona just feels unnatural
I don't know the most about her but it seems like they never allowed ChloexHalle to really have success as a duo before launching them into solo careers
One example is touring. I saw them at SITW and they only performed for like 20-30 min. They were good but it was obvious they have s*** to work on. It doesn't seem like they're used to long sets and have rarely performed outside of Beyonce openers or festivals. There's no real evidence of a dedicated fanbase without this. It's not like the music sold a lot either.
So now they're launching her into a solo with not much to really show for outside of being around. At lease Halle is starring in a Disney film which will garner millions of viewers
Damn this is probably the most fair take I've seen itt I agree with you I definitely feel like they've been rushed out. They only have two projects out, with Ungodly Hour pretty much serving as their introduction to the mainstream. But that dropped in 2020 and we all know the pandemic and s*** dubbed a lot of s***. I feel like that kinda stunted their growth as performers and as a group. It's almost like the skipped being a real mainstream duo and went off to be solo acts when they still had maybe one more tour and one more album to flesh themselves out as artists.
I think they'll be fine as solo acts, but missing that growing pains stage as a duo is gonna make when they stumble as solo acts more noticeable. And of course they're now gonna have to go through that awkward stage of finding themselves as solo acts and figure out what works and what doesn't.
Brother I’m with u i think she’s one of the most beautiful women in the world. But she lacks s***appeal lol there’s nothing wrong with that.. have u seen her perform? She don’t look nstural doin anything sexy and i get secondhand embarrassment from a lot of her thirst traps. Longtime fans said it’s cuz she lacks real world experience due to bein in the music business since she was a young girl and she’s forcing it which makes perfect sense
this comment sounds like something irv gotti would say . i just gave you example 1 of what most men would find attractive if you were to do a survey. you want to die on this hill?
i didn’t ask about her janet jackson choreography, i didn’t know this was about dancing
yep yep, been saying it. She was way more interesting when she was the cute innocent girl.

She's 24 years old you f***in weirdo. "Her current persona just feels unnatural" she's a grown ass woman

It's pretty obvious that her new persona is something she's been told to have by her label. They expected it to generate more sales. Hence why I say it's unnatural. She completely switched up overnight.
Damn so many simps here
The opposite actually, bunch of hater ass cringelords who would probably stutter while talking to Chloe bailey irl
shawty took a video with a lollipop in her mouth and now she's a soulless flop... go somewhere
and i don't really like a single song she's put out
It was just corny. Rappers do corny s*** like that and it gets brought back up the same way like Vic Mensa and the guitar or Fivio Foreign lying about being 47 on Vlad.
Being genuinely corny consistently will do it every time no matter the gender.
Her music ain't been hitting since her and her sister's last album...
Too busy trying to be sasha fierce and s***.

yeah. it was corny. and we simply laugh at those other instances. it's more than jokes in here lol not making it into a gender thing at all.

if u watch this video and have any thought other than pulling yo meat out u a loser/sus
Ya they shouldn’t have rushed her to do a debut album. It’s too soon, she gotta find her voice away from her thing with her sister. But once she did the Buss it challenge folks clamored to see more of her and the label was prolly like welp i guess it’s time for a solo career
Ain't nobody told her to do that thirsty ass s*** fr

What’s this essay of yours im intrigued in what mistakes her team mads
@safe @DonutHole @Warren_Peace
Well let's start with this:
1. Going the Solo Direction when them as a duo was starting to build a dedicated fanbase for their music. Me personally, I don't subscribe to the idea that they were not getting attention towards their music. Cause if you had seen how much they sold from their first album "The Kids Are Alright" to Ungodly Hour, They went from sitting at number 139 on BB 200 to number 16 with 24k first week. Not the best, but it showed that people were starting to check out their music and invest in them as artists. Plus Do It was their first single to finally hit the Hot 100 charts at number 63.
So they were going at organic pace with their direction as a duo. Mind you, they had visuals, ideas, plans for the rollout, and a themes done before hand at the end of 2019. And it resulted in good commercial success.
With this new solo direction that Chloe's going with. It's completely obvious that her team had no ideas going forward after Have Mercy. Because her and Parkwood are trying any idea to make her blow up with these blatant PR stunts. Like her and Gunna trying to start a Bey and Jay moment with "U & Me" when DS4 dropped but nobody gave a s*** about that track or them as a potential couple, even hip hop blogs point it out that it was ploy for her second single. They did that in the meantime until her second single rollout started and that s*** flopped. Or we can talk about the Lollipop video, or we can talk about the toilet picture. Or the fact that the Treat Me video looks like a budget softcore music video. OR THE FACT THAT CHLOE HAD TO GET ON IG LIVE TO ASK HER FANS WHAT SHOULD BE HER NEXT SINGLE?!?!?! LIKE NIGGA WHAT?!?!?!?!
It's clear that Chloe, Parkwood, and Columbia decided to jump the shark into this direction after the success of the Buss It Challenge and Have Mercy thinking it will get her to have mainstream success, but no it's backfiring because it's f***in impossible for an artist like her to have that success yet, especially when her and her sister still have a very low fanbase that supports their music. If they wanted her to go solo meanwhile Halle was still on film set for The Little Mermaid, THEY SHOULD'VE DONE A F***IN EP SO THEN IT WOULD'VE ALLOWED FANS TO SEE ARE INTERESTED IN CHLÖE'S SOLO MUSIC!!!!!!!!!! IF NOT, MOVE ON TO CXH3!!! Like bro, Billie Ellish put out a EP first before trying to do an album like what??!?!?!? BUT NO, THESE F***IN LABELS ARE SO DAMN BUSY TRYING TO HAVE A HUGE SOLO DEBUT THAT THEY CAN BANK FROM CHLOE
Everything about this was premature that it's f***in hilarious.
2. The singles and timing of the singles.
Honestly, I didn't like Have Mercy that much, but I thought it was a decent first single to start off, but then they should've came back with a single that everybody would've loved, something that would've been interesting and relatable, but still catchy for mainstream listeners, that should've been the song that Chloe previewing now "For the Night". But instead we got a poorly mixed and messy ass bounce song in Treat Me. Then released a song like Surprise, which is a good R&B song, but tbh that should've came out back in Valentines Day instead of that boring ass "U & Me" track. And why the f*** Treat Me came 7-8 months after Have Mercy. If they actually had a strategic plan, they would've had Have Mercy come out like it did first, but then a song that connects with everybody and that is interesting in January, then Surprise on Valentines Day, then lastly a summer single like Treat Me in April/May.
Like bro, it's clear that she wanted to have this album out this year and so far it's failing and its shaping up to be not to be released this year unless something changed.
And mind you I haven't even talked about her image yet. They'll be more in the essay.
But at the end of the day, my opinions probably won't matter (especially when I'm not as successful as her), because this is what she wants and we just have to sit back and see if things actually start shaping up.
So maybe her and her team not making mistakes, but they damn sure making some stupid ass decisions.
Shorty is literally one hit away
Just need to stop cosplaying Beyoncé cuz Beyoncé style ain’t that popping no more. It only works for Beyoncé cuz she Beyoncé.
Also it shouldn’t have taken me years to find out she writes and produces her s*** too. Like just make some sexy artsy s*** and she’ll be straight.
Yea check “Ungodly Hour” production credits.
Chloe gets busy.
