OP's girl is arriving home from her Chicago trip any second now. He does his final checks on the urn, adjusts the position slightly to ensure that it is in the exact same place she left it. She gets home, drops her bags, gives OP a long kiss and immediately walks to the urn. OP eyes her nervously. Does she know? How could she know?? She closes her eyes and touches the urn, almost as if to seek strength and guidance from her deceased mother (though her deceased mother is no longer in the urn)

Apr 27, 2025That's why they make resealable cremation urn bags made of plastic or fabric that the ashes can go in, then place inside the urn. Some might feel a way for whatever reason with having it in the bag but it beats if the scenario you described happens. If the urn breaks for whatever accidental reason, it's just the urn that would need to get replaced.
