this some CNN host tier posting
its not s*** posting.
i am trying to understand the situation to make sense of it.
i think the ICE agent should he prosecuted for murder
and i also like to make sense of the situation and come to grips with what happened and why it happened and not act like it was an ICE agent who walked up to a woman and shot her in the head for no reason
van jones is going to tearingly recite that post 1:1
“Unfortunately she did indeed break the law. We need to let this one go guys”
i dont agree with this as this is the type of black and white thinking that i dont appreciate. there is more nuance than that.
i mean i'm not saying the guy wasn't a psychopathic murderer but i cant come to that conclusion from the video. the video, in my view, speaks more to the ICE situation with them going into cities to do their bullshit and dealing with protestors and people hating them and how do they handle that - what level of force do they use when citizens are trying to stop them. she is told to get out of her car, she doesnt abide and tries to drive away. he wants to stop her so he steps in front of her. then in a split second he kills her.
i hate the shooter with all my heart mind you. i think what he did was wrong. i just dont think he "wanted to kill her" is right either.
You’re being pedantic. He might not have woke up that morning thinking imma kill this white lady specifically, but it ain’t a leap given the current climate to think he joined ICE to have at the very least a semblance of power and authority over people. He 100% was trigger happy because he really shouldn’t have had his weapon drawn in the first place.
He may not have have pre meditated murder on his mind, but the thought of putting someone down, for whatever justifiable reason in his head, had him feeling froggy.

i agree with this and i'd be interested to learn more about the shooter and his background. as of this moment i know zero about him

I'm all for nuance
Like I said earlier, ICE in its current incarnation is comprised largely of volunteers. These guys are signing up just hoping they get to dome somebody. But even if I throw that away and charitably assume that these people are joining with the best of intentions, there is no situation in which deadly force was even remotely warranted in this situation.
A middle aged woman was trying to escape, legal or not, and posed no threat. The second she clipped one agent (while clearly turning away), the other pulls out his gun and shoots her repeatedly in the head.
He could've shot the wheels. They could've chased her down. He instead chose to take the first opportunity he had to kill her.
the woman was told to get out of the car. she tried to flee. the cop stepped in front of her car. she kept driving.
this was not good by the woman. it was very clearly illegal and all politics aside they were in her rights to arrest their for fleeing a traffic stop or whatever u want to call it- fleeing when told to get out of her car.
however that does not mean deadly force was warranted. i honestly dont know what the laws are for whether cops can shoot someone in the head rather than just stepping out of the way of their car but i dont believe this was a just use of lethal force. i doubt cops are trained to step in front of cars to try and stop them, especially when its not like a terrorist or murderer or anything but just a citizen who hasn't really done anything.
It’s really incredible how stupid some of you are
Unfortunately he barely survived he is only standing due to pure adrenaline. Please pray for him
He's one of the few with a backbone and they are making an example of his state.
You ain’t lying.
exhibit 1001 on why this country is sick to its core
i feel bad for anyone which doesn’t see for what it is
i generall agree with this take. mind you i'm not familiar with this twitter account so if its a hated or bad account i'm sorry. i dont want to upset people by being "middle man" and talking about nuance but i honestly think the polarization and black and whiteness of both sides is a major problem is american discourse and the smart reaction is the nuanced one
The car was standstill, and as soon as it went in motion, it went to the right. The steering wheel was already turned to the right.
She wasnt going in that direction seconds before that.
The ICE agent was to the side, looking at the steering wheel.
He saw her turn the steering wheel, then suddenly went to the front of the car, trying to create a situation by himself.
Then he willfully shot her

All this aggression towards Minnesota/Minneapolis stems from the fact that the officer who murdered George Floyd was actually convicted. They will never get over that, and will continue to try to ruin this beautiful state by any means possible.

RIP the dead

He waited for this moment his entire life. Finally lived his fetish wet dream of killing someone and be justified for it by morons

i dont think this is right. correct me if i'm wrong but there were 2 agents (i mean there were more but there were 2 critically involved). one from the side and one in front. the one on the side who approached her window telling her to exit the car was not the shooter. the one who stepped in front of the car was the shooter
