-said jewish producers get more favoritism but can't name more than rick rubin and alchemist
now he calling a black man a nazi lol.
yeah, seems bannable to me
there's a lot more than those two
especially in this new generation
just so you know alch a top 5 hip hop producer of all time to me
reason being is he took risks in late 2000’s and early 10’s to make dope music with a wide array of artist instead of chasing the charts
his stability and awareness of the landscape allowed for him to age gracefully. acknowledge that privilege prevented him from crashing out like so many poppin producers and stability is why he could solely focus on the music side of the business
I agree, and he has legit respect for the culture
But lets be real, the road was paved for him
Knxwledge
we really gotta keep it real with how this 'business acumen' personal characteristic translates depending on who's doing it
knx selling beat tapes that all sound the same on bandcamp: hes weird he should do normal releases he burned all his bridges
alchemist producing albums that all sound the same while also squeezing his rapper friends for any pull they have: wow hes so good for our culture hes a legend!
you might not like this because its me who's making this thread but if you look past it you'll see that im right
idk im slowly getting on the f*** alc train along with the rest of youse
Why are you pretending Knx remixing major label songs with no official correspondence is the same as Alchemist linking up with niggas and doing merch drops, setting up his own label for them to drop and I’ll assume that the songs also often get videos too
There are a lot of benefits that come with being white in middle America of course, but y’all just start making ridiculous comparisons and statements.
Alc could have not had his 2011-2020’s run at all and he still would come up in legendary producer convos off We Gon Make It and his work with Mobb Deep lol. Having a record like that from the 2000’s means that much. So let alone the reinvention he did going into the 2010’s
If knx wasnt so standoffish he would have had a run himself. The way he was talking about the meek s*** on twitter when in the back of his head he has to know it was label people sending cease desists was ridiculous (plus the tapes never got taken down lmaooo nigga a d***head). He an iykyk type of artist when he should be this generations dilla. He actually would be a huge equalizer in everyone beats sounding the same but making good beats dont mean you get to be a d*** nigga. Unless you made Graduation
Op youre all over the place, they both have massive output crazy work ethic but i have never seen alchemist complaining on twitter and ig the way knx does, ive never heard of alc beefing with anyone, alc has songs with everyone in the game and knx doesnt because of the way they work with others
Like he’s ignoring huge factors as to why Knx never had a run lol
Alc is doing the most to make sure everyone in his orbit works 'in his orbit' and it looks kinda strange past certain point
You’re reaching hard bro lol
He only works with niggas who can actually rap over those types of beats and isnt tryna force something with baby kia for hipsters to performatively act like is classic? say what you tryna say gang lol
congrats on contender for worst f***ing thread of the year
a full year of trash drake threads and mine is one of the worst ones? you aint seen nothing
I meant privilege in terms of talent, not their childhood. Also, having well off Jewish parents doesn’t put you in front of the line in Hip Hop.

It's kind of strange how no other producers from his era who had similiar styles ended up with a career like him
congrats on contender for worst f***ing thread of the year
and I said to look past clunky phrasing and some people that did actually agreed with me?
there's a lot more than those two

This new generation does not have any white boys that hit the peak of scott storch’s popularity.
We can stop.

Says he’ll come back to engage but oddly only engages with the same posts.
@op either a piece of s*** or he might be knxwledge burner account

we already had a talk on personal qualities and I told you how I look at it like what do you want from me lol

LMAO
The other member of his group is the son of James Cann. They bought their way in huh
I agree, and he has legit respect for the culture
But lets be real, the road was paved for him
why is that a bad thing tho? and why we pick and choose when we wanna care about this when 80% of artists had the road paved for them to make it
Knxwledge

What your saying doesn’t even make any sense
Al has classic songs from the 2000s, That led to the next generation wanting to work with him. He literally opened the doors to his studio and everyone just hung out there. This led to him making a name in that scene and being able to really build his own brand as a producer
Knxwledge never did any of that and is a known weirdo who beefs with people and has twitter meltdowns
Also as far as Al releasing projects on his own label, Madlib also does that. Are you implying he’s not paying the person he did a collab with or something? Everyone he works with respects him
This thread translates to: I just don’t like the guy so I’m gonna make it seem like he’s a problem
On top of that curren$y was the first to kick off the Al collab tapes and he himself wanted Al’s name attached to it
LMAO

Except they didn’t
Cypress Hill brought them in because they thought they could make a quick check off them and make a new beastie boys
But their album got shelved and were dropped from the label. That’s why Al moved to NY
6:16 sounds nothing like the beats he produced for curren$y cmon man he’s got versatility
