I’m just gonna say this and then I’m done arguing with this bot.

Drake could retire RIGHT NOW, TODAY, and his legacy would still be cemented as one of the greatest hip hop artists to ever live, one of the most impactful rap and rnb artists ever and one of the most successful musical acts of all time. He would still hold the record for the most records charted in billboard history, he would still be the 2010s artist of the decade, he would still be tied with MJ for the most number 1s for a male soloist. He would still be the artist with the highest grossing hip hop tour of all time. He would still be involved in the 3 biggest hip hop beefs of the last 10 years. And he would most likely be the most talked about rapper even after retirement. Drake has literally nothing left to prove to anybody.

You’re right, but Drake is the type of artist that is always trying to prove himself. That’s why he drops every single year

There is competence and confrontational…. then there is pretending that you are a mob boss that gets people knocked off in real life. Those are two separate things.

    Wait

The takes the last few months have been "Drake is a fake crime lord he doesn't actually pull any strings"

2 weeks ago it was "Drake is secretly getting every single TDE artist shows cancelled in Toronto! He has the police in his pocket!"

    Which one is it?

If he didn’t care how the world perceived him… he wouldn’t feel the need to roleplay as someone he is not

You sound stupid. You don't know who that man is to be saying s*** like this.

Drake stans/Kendrick haters take it to the extreme.

NO one is going to cancel the boy...No one..unless he goes to Prison/R.Kelly type s***.

I think people were just tired of him rapping about doing this and doing that...and ended up doing nothing.

People love this Drake right now (CLB lost cliips, Gordo house vibez)... No one believes Drake is a gangster etc etc... which is what Kendrick was referring to.

Drake lost this battle....and thats okay.. Meek lost and hes fine. But theres a thread every week on why Drake beat Kendrick etc...let it die and lets move on

Crime lord ≠ cancelling shows in a venue that you're a part owner of because you're a sensitive b****

The question to ask is why people are angry that Drake is doing whatever the f*** he wants to do (something he's always done btw) after this beef. Why are y'all mad that he isn't hiding away and that he's still working with whoever he wants to work with? Why do y'all still care what he does?

He “doesn’t care to make people like him”, yet he’s spent the last 5-6 years cosplaying as a tough guy mobster to do exactly that

Idk how Drake has fooled y’all into thinking that he doesn’t care how the world perceives him. He’s shown us time and time again that he is one of the most sensitive artists on the planet

He’s also one of the most picked on and ridiculed artists of all time. So you gotta factor that in as well. He could react to everything but he def lets some things slide, I think he’s handled things pretty well most of his career considering how often he’s been the butt of everyone’s joke for 15 years

    Zero

Its up should've dropped after not like us

Would've been an easy top 10 and his perception would be completely different

would've been mad corny mid beef it would prove kendricks points that it dont sound genuine coming from mr canadian simp

drakes a dope artist just stick to singing bro, if you rapping keep it about b****es, embrace the b**** within you because that is genuine for drake, not telling me he is gonna shoot me when he got his leg pissed on and nothing happened

  • Aug 9, 2024

In real life no one talks about it people keep dancing drake at parties, just yesterday I was at the gym and started playing drake, I've never heard kendrick play in these places. it happened that drake has many fans but also many haters, this is since the beginning of his career, who doesn't remember the nickname "canada dry"???

    What

  • Drake was never going to get “booted from the culture” man, no clue why you thought that. Years of hits and music that people connected to isn’t going to disappear in a beef overnight like that, if it didn’t disappear for niggas like R Kelly I don’t see why you would seriously think this

he got cooked badly though and for a good bit of people this is what they needed to place Kendrick over Drake for their lists (although it really shouldn’t of tbh), that’s about it

I know for a fact that Drake ain’t had a PR team for at least 6 years. If he actually wants good PR, he should start there. But I highly doubt he cares. He’s one of the few artists I feel like doesn’t care to make people like him lol

his PR team is akademiks and mal

Never wished harm. Nice try tho. He just roasted them lmao. But when the roasts are that brutal I can see how a soft-hearted individual would see it as “wishing harm” so I get It

So he roasted a baby and two people who did him no wrong…?

    What

not every artist has to be 'hard' and 'gangsta', he is clearly an emotional artist and extremely sensitive with women, embrace that s***, his biggest hits came from that s***, hotline bling, hold on, one dance, his most iconic songs have been from not being a fake gangster

    He’s handled them extremely well

People love lableling him as a sensitive b**** or soft or whatever but in reality this nigga is tough as s***

All the s*** that’s happened to him and he still standing and confident as ever. Most rappers would’ve went on a 10 year hiatus and been in the house depressed if the went through half the s*** he’s gone through in the public eye. He really don’t be fazed by none of this s***. Or if he is fazed by it he doesn’t show it, he just pushes through it and keeps going, that’s the opposite of soft and sensitive imo

Oh right but he’s soft and sensitive bc he’s lightskin and from Canada and his mom is white and he didn’t grow up on section 8 and he likes rnb too much lol

    What

not to mention take care, maybe his best album, is solely him being a b**** and nothing else, this was pre gangster drake and he was looked at back then as a b**** but at least he was genuine, now hes just a fake gangster

I don't think he's trying to prove himself. He just loves making music.

All common sense goes out the window whenever any sort of Drake discourse starts. It can never be that he just likes to make and release music. They have to try and psychoanalyze him to death — someone they don't know at all.

  • @op also this site is probably the most pro-Drake out of any social media save probably the Twitter cliques, i’m sure if you went elsewhere the “consensus” would be different

they placed Drake stans as mods on this site, actively patrol any negative threads, and spam threads about literally anything he does for the past 2-3 years lol, rap Swifties
