Is there anybody really who was a fan of drake and stopped listening bc of the beef. No doubt he got whooped but I don’t see people jumping ship bc of it

Pretty much the same, his fanbase will always be locked in and the weirdo vibes that Kendrick highlighted were already being discussed prior to the battle but taken to and a***yzed on the world stage.

I’d say the damage mostly shows in the younger generation that missed out on the attachment that comes with living through his prime years. Him closely aligning with the streamer crowd at his age was high risk high reward and it was going well till Kendrick flipped it on him.

No comment on the allegations but that second point ties into the optics of all that.

Big picture wise I’d say he’s good but you’re lying to yourself if you dont see another chink in the armor. Too soon to tell where that leads cause the ground is shakier than it was after Push for a few important reasons.

That elimination of Drake s*** was always overblown to me and an extremely cringy Ye moment.

Idk about the general consensus but for me it was amazing to finally witness this beef after so long where everyone tiptoes and subs all the time unlike the 90s.

Two elites and cole going head to head was entertaining AF and I loved every moment of it. I kept switching...i was team Drake when I heard Push ups/taylor made so to see the so called calculated King lose so badly was ridiculous.

Drake will continue to make hits I enjoy and Kendrick will continue to make carefully crafted albums. Idk about this whole "ending of drake" s*** I think people are delusional if they really believe that. His stock has gone down but he will be back. It's another significant and monumental hip hop moment that will be remembered for years to come. I'm just happy to be here to see it
