Damn Molly really is a horrible friend. They talk way too much for her not to have said anything immediately and she knew Issa was waiting. Pretty much every scenario when they were bffs they contacted for things that didn’t even have to include the other yet Molly switched up here...

the writing in this season is top-tier, some people are saying that something is "off" but when you start picking up all these little things, you see that they've been building up tension between Issa and Molly.

i wonder if Molly is frustrated with Issa doing something exciting. Molly is relatively successful but you can see that she is kinda stalling. so her best friend pulling out something ambitious and pulling it out independently probably makes her feel worse. like she is left behind.
