NoirHaving that foundation is so crucial. Dry spells happen, but when you start losing your friends it really shakes who you are.
I got really lucky. Almost destroyed my social circle this summer over a woman but my friends stood by me even when I wasn't acting like myself. Good friends are hard to find.
100% I did meet vast majority of my friends back in high school, but now they found their new circle and just eventually distanced themselves. I only found one new friend after high school and even then we don't hang out frequently.
It really sucks, this is why I should never take my friends for granted
