SHFJFHSISJS speak it into existence we stan a King
I really don't know what to tell you.
If you rather consult these news networks and all that other bullshit, cool.
this but unironically
Yall just be bored sitting on social media every day looking for the next thing to direct your woke outage at. Not directed at u but in general
Cole is the poster boy for benevolent sexism. His brand of misogyny is the most typical of men. It’s insidious, normalized, and dressed up as performative “niceness” and “chivalry.”
That “I respect women—not b****es” kind of misogyny. A lot of y’all be on that s***.
Anyways, follow me for furthering the dismantling of the patriarchal white capitalist system.
Damn Noname is that you?
Noname sure as hell didnt read enough on Marx to know that he was extremely racist and definitely wouldnt smoke a blunt with a black women.
lmao god she's so cringe how are people defending her
the J. Cole & Noname thing is a misogyny issue, not a racial issue.
It’s an issue between black men and black women. And u still wanna speak like u know everything about black peoples issue. 🤡🤡
Imagine being immune to any criticism at all from anyone bc of your race and gender
(Notice the double entendre)
inb4 Anthony Fantano gives his opinion.
Keep in mind, his wife is black. Not that it matters.
The problem isn’t race imo it’s is the nigga educated enough to give their take on the subject matter (not speaking about Fantano in this case)
Marx was not extremely racist and supported the Union cause during the Civil War advocating for the abolishment of slavery

He was antisemitc and connected being black with coming with Moses from Egypt.
Jewish people were an antisocial element to him.
In several of his letters to Engels he explained how "black people cant hide their connection to gorillas". He also complained in those letters about his non–white son in law who "suffers a great scar from his n–word tribe: No emotions or shame"

don’t @ me on here either man. u got too much hate within yourself you gotta confront. goodbye.
I didn't realize J Cole and Noname were the gatekeepers for issues between all black men and women.

You can't use private, ironic etters from a 19th century man to argue his racism - applying today's standards to 2 centuries ago is futile.
When it mattered politically he was always on the side of the colonized and enslaved, privately and publically.
He was Jewish himself and argued against his own people

Are you saying it was ok that he compared black people to gorillas 2 millenniums ago because "the times were different"?

How many white people publicly argued for decolonization in the year 1860? I'll wait.

Lmao boy U don’t know me like that. But your reaction to a black man telling u to stay out of black issues being to attack another black man says a lot about u. 🤡
I don't think I've seen one white guy on Twitter say a word about this. I have seen white girl allies back up Noname though.

It only seems logical that the guy who wants a society without classism is also against slavery. Furthermore he hated the slave owners guts for embracing materialism. So that just seems in character.
Also Marx was atheist. You know "religion is the opium of the people"

It's just silly though to use today's standards for someone's bad joke. 10 years ago people might have called things they don't like gay - should we call them homophobic just because of that? Our sensibilities change. In those times he was relatively benign when it came to racism and advocated for colonialized and enslaved people. Anyone calling that racist should read what other people were writing in the 1850s and 1860s - and not in private either - to see what real racism, full of social darwinism, skull shapes, race science, genocide, slavery and so on, looks like.

https://twitter.com/KdAnother/status/1269026107375980544Yeah honestly cant disagree with that. Holding people in the past up to the standards from today would be stupid.
However Noname preaching about Marx in that fashion still makes me cringe.

She's a beginner trying to find what works for her...more power to her
Yeah its an issue
Asking this in good faith, Explain why. People can offer insight on topics without acting like they have authority on the subject. Tbh there are only a few subjects where I think this mentality makes sense (Black women natural hair vs wig debate is a good example). But I'm not seeing it with this one.
Opinion on the situation?
No I wouldn't touch any of these conversations with a 10 foot pole
