He has BPD and a schizophrenic-like disorder from my understanding

dude filming called him a f@ before the video started (and he's gay so it might have hurt him more than it just being an insult)

and he has mental disorders so you can't expect someone to be perfectly rational

on top of this it looks like it's a breakdown as well and even people without mental disorders will act irrational during a mental breakdown

and then on top of that you have someone filming you during a breakdown in a time of extreme vulnerability

i think crying is one of the most reasonable responses anyone could have

You think homeless people doing crack just to do it? Those addictions being strong enough to make you homeless can stem from the same mental health issues that the kid is dealing with.

you cant expect everyone to tolerate this, there's evil people around and you gotta know how to talk to/combat them so for him he's already at a disadvantage working at a job to provide services for all kinds of people

You can definitely make an argument that someone who has these issues maybe shouldn't be working in frontline customer service, but that doesn't absolve the other person from being an a******

I get what you're saying but you shouldn't necessarily preclude yourself from doing something just because a customer may be an a******. There are tons of people who don't have mental disorders that react poorly to angry customers or intense situations.

its just interesting is all, i worked dispatch before and administration so i dealt with a lot of crazy people making demands, also truckers, truckers can get CRAZY on a daily basis so thats why i think u just have to be some combination of numb and idk stable for these kind of jobs i guess?

I get what you're saying but at the end of the day the situation never would have arose if the dude wasn't an a******. I'm sure we've all met people who have mental disorders that may not have been readily apparent because we didn't go out of our way to be pieces of s*** to them, so judging someone off of a bad moment went viral isn't that much to go off of.

That's what I'm saying though. We have no idea the dude's job history. We have no idea if it's the first "incident". Maybe if something like this happens with customers he steps away for a few seconds and comes back fine. Maybe he's been perfect all the way up until this incident? We have no idea what he does to "prepare". It's pointless to speculate because all we have is a clip of this guy at his worst.
