That’s why she gets the reaction. Latinos/Caribbeans feel about any non Latinos making Latin style music similarity to how black people feel about any non black artist making rap or R&B. ESPECIALLY white Spaniards.
When she started doing all the reggaeton collabs and released Motomami it was “she’s stealing our culture”. Can’t tell you how many people were pissed she sampled Saoco and used it in that way lol
Now with this album a lot of the reactions are “she’s back to making her weird music nobody listens to” “can’t even understand what she’s saying anyway” etc..
One thing you’ll never hear is that she can’t sing, though lol
