  • Respected in the sense that no one’s gonna s*** on Paul Wall like they do other white rappers. But part of that is because he’s not as big as other white rappers

as a c***i am so tired of this, and i am so tired of the white rapper mount rushmore topics.

like it's not enough that you're white and listen to a white rapper, but you need validation from Black people that's he's cool.

like have higher aspirations in life than getting Black people's respect. that's not something you get from listening to the right rappers, it's what happens when you're A. normal around them and B. Cool.

maybe it's because i've been around a worse crowd and met actual wiggers and it's so pathetic, like imagine being white and having a 45 year old white dad who talks in AAVE and sells d**** not because he has to or has people in the business, but because he's living out a rap-music inspired fantasy.

idk maybe this is just a schizo rant, but i've met people who have such massive complexes around Black people and Black culture i find it pathetic. i don't really listen to white rappers these days, not as a conscious choice it just all rubs me the wrong way.

beastie boys and mac miller in particular suck tho.

    as a c***

self hate trying to overcompensate with extreme opinions is so cringe bro be yourself

  • as a c***i'm not like the other cacs... i hate mac miller and say s*** like "wigger". please accept me

My post was against self hate. Specifically the form of self hate that leads you to seek validation from or attempt to cosplay as Black people.

The point was to say be yourself

still your post reeks of self hate and seeking validation, you only make a post like that to seek validation for your opinion to begin with. calling yourself a c***and using words like "wigger" (which is insane to use when you're white) to distance yourself from other white people to seem like a Special White That's Not Like The Others™ is corny.

I am talking about an issue that I see in real life that annoys me. I rarely get the opportunity to talk about it and this thread pissed me off.

And yeah I do think I'm better than other white people. I have a big ego. I think I'm better than everyone.

And I am so tired of hearing about Mac Miller both on the Internet and real life. People speak about him with such reverence and it pisses me off. For reasons I mentioned earlier in the thread.

If it makes you sleep better I hate jpegmafia and earl sweatshirt too.

This whole thread is about "special white person who's not like the others"

Again, my whole point was against that very notion!

I pirated the beastie boys discog. Heard one song on Paul's Boutique and deleted all their songs to save space. Every bit as terrible as I remembered.

As for wack miller... There's a lot of pain and suffering in the world so you'll have to forgive me for not being sympathetic to someone feeling sorry for themselves because of their own self destructive choices.

I'd rather listen to a rapper rap about making other people sad, not being sad.

Stop smoking weed mac miller fans, I promise you it gets better.

    Pauls Boutique an acquired taste

Beasties were pioneers who started out kinda corny but developed into one of the most consistently amazing acts in hip hop for decades.

Eminem started out a staggering genius then suddenly turned into the most consitently dogshit act in hip hop for decades.

Never heard a Mac song in my life.

Paul Wall was dope. cant say ive studied his discography or anything but I knew he was special when he said "The disco ball in my mouth insinuates I'm ballin".

Yes, Mac had plenty of songs filled with d*** fueled musings. Which is almost more notable because so many stoner rappers don't.

But that doesn't change the fact that his central appeal is that he was a kurt cobaine-esque character. And I don't feel sorry for him or anyone with that character.

Just like Kurt, Mac was an addict and all the sadness in his music and life was a rationalization of his addiction. What d*** addicts do is they define a particular notion of pain, that only they have, that only they can understand, that rationalizes their d*** abuse because that pain can only be numbed through d****.

If Mac was some combination of less successful, older, and not white, or even just less talented, they'd think much worse thoughts about him than what I'm saying as they passed him on the street or at the library.

Addiction is gross and putting an attractive and charismatic face on it doesn't change that.

Yo, you're wrong just shut up tf lol

  • Most respected absolutely not, least hated maybe. Being low profile and not in the all time great discussions will do that though. If people randomly started saying he was a top 10 rapper ever people would s*** on him lmao. The same way LeBron has more hate than Gerald green but it’s just cause there’s no expectations on Green and nobody cares enough to hate on him lmao.

It looks like your keyboard is broken. Maybe instead of spending money on weed and listening to Mac Miller you should go to Best Buy and get a new keyboard.

Probably check the rest of Hot Sauce Committee cause it sounds the most modern. Live instrumentation beats they played themselves

All their 90s albums all have such a sprawling breadth it's basically impossible to get sick of them.
