You can’t just reopen it that’s not how it works tho. You have to essentially take over large sections of Iranian territory, permanently occupy it or regime change and they’re capable of none of these things.
5-10K troops or even 50K is cute but no prior gen of US would launch a war like this without dozens of nations signed on beforehand and upwards of 1M men. And those would also be wars they struggled to win strategically
When you launch it you’re stuck. That will occupy most of your effort for the next several months-years
