It’s crazy you posted Going Back To Cali because it’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the title
Best rapper ever prime for prime and he died before he hit the Jubilee year.
Life After Death a movie no rap album compares overall.
Perfect rapper:
Flow
Cadence
storytelling
Content
Controlled the streets
every region bumping him
Hits
songs for women
hooks
introspection
One of the most talented rappers ever. Bro just decided to start rapping as a career move and a few years after his demo ended up having an all time discography. Really feels like he was always great.
One thing about Biggie that was really dope is how mature he was for his age. It’s crazy to think he was only 24 when he passed. It really sucks that the circumstances and environment around him failed him

I can see that.
Jay-Z tried so hard to copy LAD's formula 3 times on Vol. 2, Vol. 3, and Blueprint 2 and he still didn't come close in any of the three attempts.
going back to cali is probably my favorite biggie song tbh, he was levitating on that zapp & roger sample man
That Notorious Thugs verse has one of the best flows and opening bars OAT

like Big's number one for me. idk i listen to rap all day every day and no one from New York, no one comes close to doing what he did on the mic. the way he put words together was effortless. you can say this or that about discographies but one song from BIG was worth whole albums from most rappers.
I've listened to all of Jay's music and it doesn't compare. jay thought of it as a hustle and his music lacked emotion. you can't show me a song i've listened to them all repeatedly
His flow is literally out of this world on this song it's incredible
Makes it sound so effortless too wtf
holy s*** no lie snare
Crazy folk forget them rape allegations lol
The voice+storytelling + flow……
He could make any type of record.
Biggie with Puffs musical direction was unmatched.
Life after Death is the greatest double album in rap history, I don’t skip any songs on that project.
