Getting my bread up and building the life I want for myself. A little late to the party but I've been through hell and I'm still young enough to make it count for a few years out there.

NYC was a mental escape for me as a minority kid growing up where I grew up. I went there for college and it was a great experience. Had a LTR after college with someone in Queens that just ended, also an awesome time.

I'll have enough money to get out of here in a few months, just wrapping up school and saving money. I can't wait to finally escape from this goddamn place. Shoulda been out like 5-6 years ago but the pandemic completely f***ed my life up.

Nah man this has been my dream for ages. Been trying to actively get to this stage in my life since 2014. It's now or never. 2 months left of nursing school, then I'm gonna start working and build a nest egg. Once I get through the probationary period at my job, I'm apartment hunting

For reference I'm 30, gonna be 31 in the Fall. My childhood was pretty bleak.

If I enjoy the city I may ask for a transfer, obviously can't judge living in a city from a vacation but may as well take an opportunity to live abroad + I'm from a big city so isn't a big culture shock
