it’s hilarious what some of these rappers doing gimmicks for their music got you guys normalising. carti doing his devil act is more interesting then a down to earth brother who just wants to bar on his music and live a normal life. this world is backwards

i think cole like kendrick is someone who wants to be remembered as one of the greatest

nothing wrong with that

but that influences what they rap about

so i can see how it seems almost formulaic to some people

even when executed well

someone else who also tried going down this path is Logic

but the pressure got to him and he folded
s*** like Truly Yours is cole at his purest

and that's his best kind of music imo

that make sense?
