jokes aside we really dont got many rappers do this nomore
FHD was a homecoming story, after feeling he was getting lost in Hollywood and he comes back home and grounds himself. He brought his old crib and all that inspired the album. TFO seems like a similar narrative but more so how it relates to him retiring.
He first got the idea of TFO after he finished the tour for FHD, but held off on it because it wasnt the right time
Then you add in the cover arts, FHD being his old house/ TFO being his old beatmaking gear
Both were supposed to be double discs
And the rollout are the same (3 weeks 2 days announcements with trailers and no single)
The narrative from The Come Up to FHD is so dope
Kid with big dreams achieves them but finds out it’s not what it seems so he goes back to his roots to find himself
And I doubt he planned that, it’s just how his life went which makes it even more fire he was able to capture that
I honestly think the concept for this album seems really dope and personal to him. I really do believe this is going to be a phenomenal project
this is gonna be terrible
