  • Im a longtime JayElec fan but I’ll never go to a show, he has a long history of this. I don’t know why promoters and fans keep setting themselves up for this.

    Also his catalogue is so small that it’s going to be the same set from 2015 outside of a few new songs.

    It’s very clear at this point the mystique was just always a crutch once he secured his roc nation deal. The mystique ended up cannabilizing him ironically.

    He’s in hack territory for me at this point. Hate to say it as someone who really heralded him.

    Growing up is realizing jay really just a youtube brained (i’d bet 500 dollars Sa Neter TV is in his youtube history heavy) addict with talent utilizing the muslim ideology/farrahkhan as a means to get some order within his life (nothing wrong with that, noi/malcolm x were great at doing that) but not really following any of the doctrine and just wanted to get rich quick and go party/fuck jewish women & badu.
