the whole climate point thing is that socialism/communism can respond to the climate crisis in a sufficient manner because profit is not the end goal.

capitalism can never do this, because in order to respond at the appropriate scale, you cannot have this endless growth inherent to capitalism.

Do you think that this is attainable? And if so, how do you envision this? I see you post quite often on these subjects, almost exclusively, but sometimes it’s a bit surface level imo (I mean that in non disrespectful way, fr, but don’t know how to write it in another way). I wonder if you could provide that— I’d be interested

I wonder whether you think that this is actually attainable or not? If so, how? I expect that you are interested in Marx, do you believe that a revolution will happen?

Just to name a few questions. I’ve never read a post of you where you go into these things.

The CCP switched to a capitalist model economy. That’s the point they are trying to drive home to you. China is not a representation of communism.

The Communist Party of China (CPC),23 commonly known as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP),24 is the founding and sole governing political party of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The CCP leads eight other legally permitted subordinate minor parties together as the United Front. The CCP was founded in 1921, mainly by Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao, with the help of the Far Eastern Bureau of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and Far Eastern Secretariat of the Communist International.25 The party grew quickly, and by 1949 it had driven the Kuomintang (KMT)'s Nationalist Government from mainland China to Taiwan after the Chinese Civil War, leading to the establishment of the People's Republic of China on 1 October 1949. It controls the country's armed forces, the People's Liberation Army (PLA). It is also one of the two major historical contemporary parties in Chinese history, the other being the Kuomintang.
