Damn, go hiphop
So far this year, the Joe Budden Network has earned an average of $1.04 million per month on Patreon. It has about 70,000 paying subscribers. Subscriptions range from $5 to $50 per month, with higher tiers granted access to more episodes, including from spinoff shows. (Two weekly episodes of the flagship podcast are released free to the general public.)
This means its 2025 subscription revenue will probably exceed $12 million — enough to make Mr. Budden the top earner on the crowdfunding platform. That status and Mr. Budden’s figures were confirmed by a spokeswoman for Patreon.
and looks like he taking care of everyone too
The Joe Budden Network employs more than 30 independent contractors in roles such as production and administrative support.
Payment of these contractors — and the on-air talent — is the company’s biggest expense. For example, more than $1.5 million annually goes to the co-hosts of “The Joe Budden Podcast.” (They include Trevor Robinson, known as Queenzflip; Marc Lamont Hill; Melyssa Ford; Parks Vallely; Antwan Marby, known as Ish; and Lamar Burney, known as Ice.)
and looks like he bout to drop a big bag on the studio
The company is in the process of purchasing, for roughly $2 million, the waterfront condominium unit in Edgewater, N.J., where it records audio and video for “The Joe Budden Podcast.” (It currently rents the unit; residents in the building have complained about sharing space with the operation.)
I don’t watch it but happy for him, I use to love the Mood Muzik series
Good for him, I personally never joined Patreon and stopped keeping up with the pod on YouTube. But it’s a lot of people that never saw this pod being a success and even more that that they would fall off after R&M left
Im genuinely baffled, how is that possiblr
joe budden has always had a grasp on the internet for decades tbh.

gotta remember he’s been in the middle of a lot of entertainment moments in hiphop as a voice over the last 10 years. more than likely a lot of overseas subscribers and hardcore fans and older fans who prefer it as their audio of entertainment. it adds up especially with s*** like breakfast club failing

Quality will never beat

(hands down the funniest podcast episode...like ever made in the medium)
But I'd be lying if I didnt say JBP aint have the best coverage of #TheBeef last year.
My barber always has this s*** on and it occurred to me one day cornering the market for the old heads that feel like they missed out on the Internet era coming up so now they’re overly invested is just such a smart concept especially being led by Joe who definitely deserves his credit for catering to that lol
