    Yes brother

It means and changes a lot.

Christians have made him God and put him on this pedestal. They reduce his message to "he died for our sins, to be saved we must admit that and admit he rose again".

This takes away from his message. Following him and believing in him changes meaning also. Follow him becomes do as he did. Do the work and discover who you really are and become one with God.

I agree with what you're saying but you've put words into my mouth that weren't there. I did not say this was the ONLY reason in my post but it's a possible reason that is never spoken of so I've highlighted it.

Yes he disagreed with the Essene way of separating from the others to remain pure. He mingled with the sinners because his message was important and needed to be heard.

The temple sacrifice system was lucrative and Jesus would have known that if he got in the way of that it would mean death. He would have also known how popular he was. He would have known his story would ring out for years. I haven't taken anything away from any of that, I'm just providing further information and context that is severely overlooked

I hear you and you make fair points

I also don’t beleive in the conditioning of modern day Christianity, or organized religion for that matter

I just feel the discrepancy lies in trying to undermine his greater purpose on earth by framing it as him simply being a hippie teacher, or him challenging authority (which I agree played a part), but leaving out the obvious that his coming and crucifixion was heavily foreshadowed in the OT; it’s a reason he forgave his killers because they simply couldn’t grasp the cosmic significance of this event

And I saw you seem to have some personal vendetta with Paul, idk bro to me he was one of the greats just cause he didn’t meet Jesus in person doesn’t equate to him being a fraud, he quite
literally bled and suffered for the Christ…

If you judge by their fruits it becomes pretty easy to see that this was someone that was directly touched and inspired by the Christ impulse, very hard to play long con esp when your life is on the line

That’s not what I’m saying, I just think Westerns forget to look at the source of these ideas and where exactly are they talked about in fullness

Maybe some do but theres a large community of western people who understand these topics very well

I would go so far to say that the hindu and buddhist teachings dont go deep enough

  • The emerald tablets and kyballion will always be the best spiritual texts imo

    Also shoutout robert monroe

    Explain the last part?

Theres an underlying mathematical framework to reality that eastern religions dont really explore

Understanding how these essential processes depend on one another is a key part of understanding reality

Look at the long ass post i just made

It all depends on what you seek and view ultimate reality to be. If you believe it’s controlling and manipulating it through personal power then no teaching will ever be enough. You may settle for something but nothing can fully capture that

Of course id never suggest such a thing

Time is an ocean and we arent meant to control it.

So it is control you’re seeking or submission to something greater? What are you seeking for exactly?

But we in fact ARE human, other wise we wouldn’t be in these bodies

Negating one side of our nature for the other isn’t a balanced understanding

There’s a truth within the human condition as well

They are real experiences but should those experiences or ones like it be the focus of our spiritual journey as humans? I don’t believe so

I’ve done many plant medicines like mushrooms, ayahuasca, etc. I’ve traveled to Peru, Ecuador, Thailand, and India in search of spiritual knowledge. I’ve read many of the major spiritual texts, the Kybalion, the Upanishads, the Dhammapada, the Bhagavad Gita, and more. I genuinely searched for these answers for much of my life.

Yes, those experiences brought me closer to God. But where some spiritual seekers conclude, “I am God,” my journey led me somewhere different. I came to realize that only God is the ultimate Reality. Whatever wisdom, insight, or awareness I have is not my own possession. it is a gift from Him.

The deeper I searched, the less confidence I had in my own spiritual power and the more I recognized my dependence on God. My search didn’t end in self-deification; it ended in submission.

To me, the highest spiritual state isn’t mastering hidden experiences like astral projection or pursuing psychic abilities. It’s recognizing my human condition: I am a servant who depends entirely on God. That realization brought me more peace and understanding than any mystical experience ever did and I believe those experiences are supposed to lead us to that understanding

For example, people love to talk about manifestation but that idea is a watered down version of ideas placed in ancient Buddhist, Hindu and Islamic texts

That new age "Manifestation/law of attraction” stuff is just another expression of the human ego imo. It comes from the desire to believe we’re in control of everything, especially our own future. It reflects our tendency to seek certainty and agency in a world that is often unpredictable. Some of that stuff is really sad too cause once you look deeper into these communities you’ll see it’s a lot of people who experience limerence and can’t move on from a love interest, sometimes ex-partners since years or people with incurable illnesses. That s*** is some sort of coping mechanism for whatever they are going through at that moment. They pay lots of money for random coaches or gurus who will gaslight them into believing they "are just doing their methods wrong" or "they are not believing it enough" if s*** doesn’t materialise in the real world. Spiritual victim blaming is also a big thing. If bad things happen to you it’s because u simply attracted it! "If you get bullied it’s because you have negative thoughts about yourself, so who are we to blame right?." type beat. You’re poor because you think poor! is a popular one. Take it to extremes and you’ll blame yourself for getting abused.
New age authors will tell u everything is just about your imagination / assumption, theoretically you don’t actually have to do s*** in the material world. Which is not the same thing as optimism & consistency paired with great + smart work making it more likely to achieve your goals, even though that’s how some of them try to sell it to newbies to lure them in.

I think you often see New Ageist trying to make their beliefs look more credible by using Bible verses and spin things according to their own beliefs. That’s basically what authors like Joseph Murphy did. Making verses like "Faith moves mountains" about manifestation and so on.

    What’s also interesting is.
When new ageist say stuff like "this world is fake" for example they mean consciousness shapes reality, we are in some sort of simulation where you can basically control everything with your subconscious.

When Muslims say this dunya is an illusion they simply mean this life is a test for what happens after death / the day of judgement. Life here is temporary but it doesn’t mean it isn’t real. Whatever you do on earth still ultimately matters for how God judges you. God is the one who creates reality, humans experience & respond to it.

They use a similar expression for a completely different worldview.

Do you think science and spirituality can work together to explain the deepest secrets of this world?

Do you think science and spirituality can work together to explain the deepest secrets of this world?

Maybe it could. But often spiritual people invoke science in ways that go beyond what the evidence supports. This isn’t unique to them ofc religious people do that also. The issue is less “spirituality versus science” and more using scientific language to lend credibility to claims that haven’t been scientifically established. Like when they use scientific jargon without accurate meaning. Terms like quantum, energy, frequency, vibration and dimension are borrowed from physics but often used in ways that don’t match their scientific definitions. quantum healing for example typically has no demonstrated connection to quantum mechanics.
