and yes, thats not what im saying. im saying that he wants to privatize space travel, IE take the whole thing out of the public sphere. and then he can operate essentially how he wants in terms of launching rockets etc.,
NASA hasn't done s*** about space travel so yes maybe he can privatize it in the US (Bezos is working on his thing also)
but he can't do it in the rest of the world because the EU, Russia, China and India all have developed space programs

I mean he saw that the govorment isn't investing in to NASA that much and now because of his rockets the US is able to send people back to the space station where scientific research is done, also spacex doesn't just do space travel, they are developing tech to give internet in non accessible regions

Elon isn't just spacex, how about the renewable energy tech he is developing? Or the emission free cars? Or world wide internet accessibilit? Do you think spacex is only about mars? Spacex is also developing tech with NASA to detect crops drought which can increase hunger in poverty regions of the world, what about the LIDAR tech, sending humans affordably to the space station to research for the better of humanity?
All of these things are in the name of profit tho, it’s reaching to attribute these to him actually trying to solve world problems for humanity. He simply saw a market for electric cars. The actual humanitarian actions you attribute to him like the ECOSTRESS project were solely developed by NASA and simply used a spacex launch to get to the ISS. Again, he is trying to privatize space flight strictly for profit. Just because NASA decided to contract him to install the module doesn’t mean the entire project is now a humanitarian cause

Who knows what kind of s*** he’s going to be doing 10-15 years from now? I personally think that there’s a decent chance that he tries to become a cult leader “in the name of God”. That’s assuming he sticks to this twisted path of “righteousness” that his mind is navigating him through.
I both fear and look forward to witnessing the rest of his legend.

yes he is gaining money from it and he deserves it because of the risks he took the time he spent learning and working for it, no one, NO ONE does the s*** Elon does, that's CAPITALISM.
