yesacI'm cool with any artist on any song or album, do what you want, but I think Kanye grandstanding about his kid being on TikTok when he has rapists and abusers for muses is a bit hypocritical
I was annoyed when Jail Pt 2 came on mainly because of DaBaby and feeling like it was a direct diss at Hov/Megan but I still like the song
it is hilarious that dude stands around rapists all day but god forbid his daughter makes a tik tok with her mom

radiant childYes, idk if in yall elementary school they had this but in mine, lets say something we were doing in my school got put on the news - the parents would have to sign a form as to whether or not the news could interview me, get me on camera etc.
As a parent, if your child is a minor you have the final say as to where their image is used
I agree that it’s up to the parent.. Just feel like there should be better communication and coordination between the parents cos airing everything on on SM like this has turned the situation into circus where everyone is just bashing without knowing all the facts

There's nuance to this all, the part of TikTok North would engage in is innocent, its dance challenges and sing-alongs
but yes on every single part of the internet/life/media/anything you will find something offensive or raunchy, you can be like China and sanitise everything if you want to but kids will eventually find out about offensive or raunchy things, of course that doesn't mean you just show it to them all at once or have no boundaries but within reason and with boundaries there's a place for social media imo, you/anyone ITT can feel free to block their kids from consuming media if they want to

And have you ever used TikTok? If so you would know that the algorithm puts random videos into your feed. Most content created and creators are not for/by kids. It’s different than say, YouTube, where a kid can watch another kid playing with toys and then the only recommended videos are similar in nature/content
Even then, it’s still bad to leave them unsupervisedBut TikTok is different and it’s why so many random things blow up on tik tok is because their algorithm puts completely unrelated/no correlation videos in your feed
