my niece is 9 and not allowed to be on socials - for obvious reasons
i think it's pretty ill advised to let her actively go on tiktok unsupervised if that is what's happened. but i dont really see the issue with the supervised access, at least in moderation, which seems to equally rankle with people itt.
And again, if the mere act of eyes on her is a negative then all this other stuff that people thought was cute over the years was also bad and essentially feeding her into the celeb culture machine

Thankfully her dad found out because he checks her phone regularly. She had disabled the restrictions on there that made it to where she couldn’t download s*** like that. Saw some of the messages and the s*** these dudes was saying to her/tryna make her do for them was sick. So imagine how worse that could be for a under famous girl who lives in hollywood(notorious hub of sicko s***)
