Couches, couches, couches, couches, which one should I pick?
Same day as this epic interview

Kanye recording spaceship just blew me away. Perfection. So much passion. How is this real

Informative interview with Coodie at the end of the episode
Part 3 is one helluva jump
Would of been insane to see Graduation (I have everything) to 808s to MBDTF (masterpiece) to....Yeezus.

such pivotal times in his career and as an artist
feel like there’s no way they’ll do it justice jamming it into one episode

Is 808s to Yeezus on YouTube?
I wish some of the "Kanye changed, I refuse to check out anything he does because he wore that hat and said slavery is a choice" people would watch this so that they could see HE'S ALWAYS BEEN THE F***ING SAME. I can't stand how people who were staunch supporters refuse to check out anything associated with him just because ideals they f*** with became the target of Kanye's way of expressing himself
People were pissed about the George Bush thing, the Taylor Swift thing, I've seen this nigga lowkey defend OJ Simpson in that VH1 performance he did. Nigga has had a p*** addiction in like 2003 and now the mother of his children made billions off a s***tape, he has not changed.

would’ve been heat. forreal.
This s*** is amazing dog
After watching episode 3 as well, I really do not even mind that the stuff from his peak is not in there. It honestly makes sense, as that was the time he was furthest removed from his true Self, and Coodie recording him has always been Kanye at his purest.
So inspiring, man. Kanye's life journey is really that of a great One
would’ve been heat. forreal.
Dog, and I shed so many thug tears during that first half, realising how deep the pain must've been after Donda passed. I cannot even describe or imagine what it must take to have kept going like he was during that time
Edit: My bad, didn't even mean to quote you lol

Great post
Yet it’s barely top 10 on Netflix 🤔
Pretty sure it peaks top 5 whenever the episodes drop. Then as the week goes it falls
I thought it might lose popularity as the weeks gone by but I saw as much chatter last week on social media as I did week 1
I don’t really like the director putting himself and his life story into the doc.

Na it adds to it , I like the context behind why he couldn’t be there at certain points in Kanye’s career n where their relationships was at different times . Especially seeing how inseparable they were at the beginning

It adds dimension to the story. It's like with The Great Gatsby. But also, just the fact that it lets us know how he's changed even to the people most closest to him. And then growing on his own personal journey to bringing them back.
