I have a family member who is more than likely bipolar. It’s a very complicated situation from an outside perspective, but there’s love there. I want to find a sweet zone between using the mental illness as a catch-all to pin everything on, and acknowledge that yes, it’s relevant. It’s a difficult line to walk. I think Ye is a complicated man, but I’d like to believe he’s a kind man. I think he is. But I also think he’s a different type of guy at different times. I’ve seen people try and smear Ye before, label him crazy, when there has been more to the story. It’d be nice to know that’s not the case this time. But I guess I just need to see how things play out. And that’s really all I have to say on the matter.
