if i had any artistic idols they were david lynch and kanye west so this is a bit of an awkward start to the year
Don't worry, your favorite band Radiohead is completely without controversy
I do make art but I don't have any attachment to these people
Idolize is way too strong of a word, influence for sure.
not "idol" wise (personally) but musically, he's definitely an idol of mines. Late Orchestration played a part into what got me into arranging/composing live instruments behind my songs. (in a way, his music is a small reason why I could do s*** like write a whole 9 piece show last year)
but you gotta also remember ye was probably the last like urban global figurehead.
he was the definition of "cool" to alot of people born between the late 80s and mid 90s.
the fact that s*** like this was a SIGNIFICANT number of now famous people's moodboards alone says ALOT. Cause I was there when ignorant niggas (I'm "niggas") was clowning s*** like this and the infamous kilt picture )
ye had a pulse on a lot of things in different avenues besides music that...while I make jabs in this thread at niggas putting him on a pedestal, I earnestly understand why.
...but this is why idol worship is dangerous. cause niggas shoulda let him go after the red hat lol.
Ah I see. I get where you're coming from. Thanks for sharing
i mean "BILL COSBY INNOCENT" but yeah, for the most part his controversies were just goofy s***.
Ohhhhhh yeah, I forgot that was before Pablo
And Taylor's mic of course, but yeah, nothing like this

Idolize is way too strong of a word, influence for sure.
yeah i mean i feel like there’s always an artist you can point to and say. oh word yeah that pointed me in a certain direction
Ominous considering the Pablo Tour is exactly where s*** started to crumble.
Pablo always had a unique energy.
acid comeup
Don’t think it’s a love Jesus thing. LOVE is actually one of Diddy’s pseudonyms. It’s basically called The Diddy Hoodie
Oh nah not love Jesus literally but saying he really loved her because he was 'willing to risk it all', genuine demon s*** from Kanye man.
Idolize is way too strong of a word, influence for sure.
Okay I can get with influence. Those are inevitable when creating art
eh if that were the case wouldn’t Cudi be off his rocker then? He seems to be better off that experience
Cudi absolutely was off his rocker don't you remember his entire mental break after all that
He's better currently at least
