ye saw her last April at Rewire fest, I knew her long-time DJ and producer right hand Asmara aka 1/2 of Nguzunguzu was at the festival (performed w a band the same day), she also helped her put together the remix album..

she's a proper club legend so tbh I was hoping for something more clubby and live DJing, but it was more just a concert, song after song w lil pauses. she still said it was supposed to be "a party" but was hard to get into that vibe

that said it was great to have the focus more just on her stunning voice and the songwriting and she was extremely sexy on stage. just went in w the wrong expectations ig. maybe her next tour w the remix album out will be more ravey?

it issss, one of my favs of 2022. rly mad that they were sitting on it for ages, first announced it in 2016. last year were supposed to drop a sequel also, that song I posted is from the tracklist of it... who knows when that'll come

I only played this album at night for like two months when it dropped. Imma check out the remixes...tbh this would be my first remix project by her that i've listened to. Only because I love the original songs to all her music so much, i never cared to hear another version.
