Water GiverJust want to say (and I edited in op) to make clear, GKMC got officially certified as Diamond in January of 2026 but became eligible in November 2025
Damn is now eligible since about a week ago. They will prob officially cert it within the next few months.
Do you have a legit source on Damn being elig? Its usually chartdata that reports on this

Diamond Elig means the album is believed to have sold 10M, but has not been verified.
Diamond Cert means that RIAA has verified the units, filtered for any fraudulent activity (if any) and certified it Diamond (10x Sales).
The difference between Elig to Cert could come down to the unit conversion Billboard uses vs RIAA

You can get week over week sales but overall units/historic units there is no tracking.
Luminate is probably best tracking but its a paid for service offered only to labels, and their methodology is different from RIAA count.
If anyone wants to try to split a Luminate subscription hit me up.
However we can use clues.
The article I linked and quoted from Billboard mentioned that Damn was nearing 9M units. Lets assume it is 8.9M. That was Feb 2025
HDD (which uses a formila similar methodology as Billboard) reported that Damn did 824K in 2025 - hitsdailydouble.com/charts/2025-year-end-albums
The article I linked is from Mid Feb, so if we pro-rate the 824K for 10.5 months not counted we get 721K in addition to our assumed 8.9M.
That puts us at 9.621M Billboard units as of end of 2025.
It would need 379K units in 2026 to pass 10M Billboard Units. Its not on the YTD album chart HDD has thus far for 2026, but the cut off for that is aroind 470K, so still possible.However Billboard and RIAA use different methodologies. RIAA weighs all streams the same, and 1500 streams to an album unit. They also include YouTube
