The beef blew up some of the numbers, but the beef isn't responsible for all of the numbers, kenny is talented and is making good music. I'm very certain a large number of those sales are from people who don't know or care about the extent of this beef.
Drake stans are complaining as these numbers are being rubbed in their face as if the previous point wasn't true.

They would downplay Kendrick, and other rappers, for not having as many sales as Drake.
Hell i personally knew ppl who said "its not possible for Drake to lose to Pusha T, cause Drake got more sale, money and b****es", when Pusha T cooked him.Its more so that Drake fans are finally getting beat in the one thing that they held above other ppl's heads, i can't use sales as an excuse. And Kendrick fans are rubbing it in. However, under normal circumstances, i don't think Kendrick fans and other rap fandoms necessarily care about their favorite rapper's sales.
