I think in general
He has some good interviews I like that rob markman interview but i really want him to do an interview on the level of Pac’s with Sway
i feel that
mr. morale era was really begging for one especially with how divisive some of the themes on there are
I wanted to wait and sit with the album before I gave my thoughts
Honestly, this album was what I’ve been wanting from Kendrick for a long time now. Just great songs. This definitely feels like an album he made post beef. This feels like a mixtape in the best way possible. Just bars and quality ass music to feed the fans.
Even though this album isn’t perfect, this is easily one of the best albums of the year, no debate. Kendrick deserves all this success
Wacced Out Murals, Dodger Blue, Reincarnated are my top 3. Beautiful ass songs. 10 / 10 songs
The songs I don’t like at all are Peekaboo and GNX. Those 2 are MISSES IMO
Hey Now grew on me. At first I was mixed cus of the beat and the first half of Kendrick’s monotone delivery. Also, that feature is just not good and so generic. But I’m really loving the song. That feature is just not it. Spaceships on Rosecrans tho>>>
This album deserves all its success and I’m so happy that someone as talented and passionate about this music genre I love is getting so much success and recognition
Peekaboo bottom 2 is crazy
Give it more spins there’s some amazing lines
he's not really a good interview if we keeping it a thou wow.
and that's ok.
Maybe i just gotta accept that lol
GNX and Blue Lips are tied for me for AOTY and I can’t choose which I like more… yet
TDE still so consistent... amazing albums from Q Soul and Kenny this year
Peekaboo is so good man
I just can’t get into Peekaboo man. It’s just not clicking. Just feels like a nothing song. Especially the GNX track

That little 2 minute ass spotify interview he did 😂 like bro u playing
Not just Kendrick but a lot of rappers would be able to get people to understand their albums better if they did interviews

HEARD WHAT HAPPENED TO YO MANS NOT SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS!
Wow, he’s extremely intentional.
this the most revealing I've heard from him in a minute
some people just do better in convos in real life versus interviews.
god willing a documentary or something comes out for kendrick like the kanye one
maybe not any time soon but i really need to see that beef era sessions lol
Easily lol
Really? I thought it was a hot take. Maybe cus the MUSTAAAAAAARD meme, but it seems like the second half of tv off only gets talked about
But the first half just hits better for me
Love both parts tho

closest to that is Vince.
To be a great interview means you kinda have to be a character + very well spoken. And Pac on top of that was very VERY well read.
Last time kendrick had mics on him he said respectability politics related s*** regarding Michael Brown.
We never get another interview I'm perfectly fine.
Wacced Out Murals might be my favorite Kendrick intro… it’s been Weasley’s Theory for so long but my heart telling me Wacced Out Murlas might be it now

You be exaggerating like s*** hes done HELLA interviews since the mike brown interview lol that was in 2014

I hate how a lot of hip-hop artists get big and don’t do interviews anymore
Cole, Kendrick, Drake
they put crack innit . flows and beat just
WHO THE F*** I FEEL LIKE? I FEEL LIKE JOKER

Yeah its not a Kendrick issue
I miss interviews in general
Now its irrelevant rappers who do 10 interviews a month and rappers we wanna hear from never do them

The double park it all at tam's, mr. get off on your mans pocket is one of the best parts of the album

and most of em wasn't really engaging
including the rick rubin one. His Andre 3000 episode was better.
A lot of rapp..eh, a lot of musicians in general just aren't really good at communicating their feelings outside of their music. (if we talking 2pac-esque)
We're on a kanye forum so we used to that kind of clarity because people like him (even if it wasn't for always the right reasons) knew how to engage you whenever they interview.

It’s gonna randomly click. Don’t force it. If you end up not liking it then that’s all co.
Yeah its not a Kendrick issue

It's clip culture. Thirsty ass niggas can't wait to chop it up to either make money off it or create false narratives. Imagine that ak page if Kendrick dropped an interview rn
Yeah I’m not sure why they blanked them
I know the blanked Q line was about Ye so maybe that just wasnt the look the label wanted
Didn’t Trav defend ye on Utopia? Swear I saw a lyric defending him
Plus is Q even big enough to get backlash? I doubt his fanbase even cares
I think Kanye a piece of s*** but he’s my GOAT so I’m not necessarily offended by Q defending ye. Ye deserves his backlash but Q had a point on how complicated mental illness is
I just don’t think fans of Q would try to cancel him

Yeah that seems to be the case for Kendrick
But idk an interview where he addresses this beef directly at all would instantly be a classic im ngl
