to be fair, there were hundreds of politicians advocating for people to gather in the streets in protest of police brutality amidst a pandemic as innocent people continued to get their property destroyed or were killed practically every single day. I know that cause was actually justified unlike eLeCtIoN fRaUd but lives were lost in both cases that didn't need to be. When you threw a tantrum as a kid did it ever change anything or get you what you wanted? No. We use legislation in our country to create change- not violence. Protest does not give you the right to break the law, regardless of what side you are on or what wrongs have been done against you.
Not all cops are b******s, not all liberals are antifa-marxist-socialists, not all conservatives are "nazis" or white supremacists. People need to get smarter and be able to think critically. You cannot take the 1% of a group of people and use them as your narrative for what that entire group believes.
That being said I do think that Trump being banned from twitter was entirely justified, I just feel that both parties are directly responsible for fueling this fire.
If you’re a cop and not speaking out against police brutality you are part of the problem.
What exactly are the consequences since you don’t want people to be banned
For what trump did he should get hefty fines. People organizing events that turn into s***shows should be held accountable but not be held more accountable than the people themselves.
The clowns who are actually rioting and storming federal buildings should be put down.
Trump or anyone else gets 2 fines then they’re sent to prison instead of receiving a 3rd one
All this when you could've typed crepes> and ended it
i can definitely say that i am not cultured enough to have an opinion on crepes
For some reason you guys think the President deserves some sort of immunity and not face the same consequences the average person will.
This is part of why we’re in the mess

If twitter starts mass banning people for having unpopular opinions then we can revisit this take. Until then lets not use this as a scapegoat for trump
The trump ban was technically a mass ban. It wasn’t millions of people but it was dozens and that’s not okay when of those dozens only one incited violence. It’s especially not okay when other figures do it as well and aren’t banned. If you’re gonna have bias AND power that’s called corruption
i can definitely say that i am not cultured enough to have an opinion on crepes
Dont worry bro you'll come to the good side when you try them

Good thing you cant like your own post then
Shes 100% right and the replies to her are pretty ignorant. The very beginning of her post clearly says take Donald Trump out of it and people are so angry they can’t even think a tiny bit to see how dangerous this power is
If you take Trump out of it it's just a regular dude violating the rules of a site and getting banned for it I would be totally ok with that
She is a 100% right.
I wouldn't expect small minded Twitter to know the difference tho.

The position literally provides him with dozens of protections that dont apply to the average person. This is a pretty moot point.
Calling someone a donought is hilarious
Did you guys actually SEE the tweets Trump got banned for? They were a f***ing joke. He has said MUCH worse than what he actually got banned for.
they are afraid he was doing to take it a step further. i’ve gotten banned on twitter for dumbass tweets because of my previous ones as well. they get taken into consideration.
She is a 100% right.

He’s the ringleader, he actively encouraged them to try and stop the election count.
And even when he had to go back and condemn the violence he kept saying The election was stolen.

"Free speech means the free and public expression of opinions without censorship, interference and restraint by the government."
Which government owns Twitter Mr. Mandarini Luther King

What did he say
Craziest part is he was saying nothing he was being vague and annoying the entire thread
“You don’t get it”
“It’s not just twitter”
