I'll save you 4 minutes of listening to the most annoying man on Earth: he acknowledges that MJ is a legend, he was trying to subtweet somebody IRL who said he'd never be as good as MJ, what he meant by doing 'more than MJ' is doing acting and fashion, he blames Twitter for misconstruing his statements and getting offended. a lesson in not needing to respond to everything, especially if u not lucid enough to get ur point across without downplaying another artist.

cudi's last 2 albums this decade were incredibly disappointing and i say this as someone who actually f***s w indicud & satellite flight. bruh jus needa put the phone down and lock in on the craft he's known for by creating music that actually resonates outside of his core fanbase if he wants to be seen as some 'great' polymath.

also this comparative notion of belittling gambino by saying "cudi is the bigger cultural icon with higher highs" keeps falling flat because the whole argument is cudi wants to be more than just music, which at least donald glover has clearly had more success and acclaim with on a consistent level across all the fields he mentioned in the og tweet

so little nuance in this back n forth dialogue, yal goin in circles
