Yeah I was pretty blowed about that at the time but idk if I would have even trusted Uzi to pick the best songs for the tape (he basically doesnβt pick any of the songs he previews snippets of and most the time those songs sound crazy). Maybe one day tho itβll leak
wonder why we haven't got a single music video for anything off ea or the deluxe

They did lyric videos for a ton of the EA songs but I garuntee it had a lot to do with the Corona stuff. Plus itβs weird it seems like Uzi likes doing the one off videos more than his album tracks (post 2016)

Happy Luv Is Rage 2 Day!
Man I have so many mixed emotions for that album. Easily one of my most anticipated music releases of all time. So many incredible snippets coming out, the EP of songs at the beginning of the year was incredible to say the least, XO becoming an absolute smash and cementing Uzi as a super star, what a time.
All the antics behind the scenes and the album getting pushed back (likely due to how big XO was) definitely impacted what album we ended up getting. I really loved it on first listen but over time grew to feel like the project was a disappointment overall. However, I still come back to it regularly and think it is Uzi's cleanest produced album to date.
As a sequel to the classic that Luv Is Rage is, I think it can be compared pretty easily but lives in that projects shadow a bit. I think Uzi was still in his peak making music with incredible melodies but the deep cuts on LIR2 don't compare to LIR1 to me. UnFazed may be Uzi's worst song on any of his projects from LIR1 on (although P2 is pretty close). We did get gems outside of the smashes on the album like Early 20 Rager, Feelings Mutual and Neon Guts.
Overall this really set the tone for Uzi's career has been the cornerstone of his whole career. I may not have agreed with all the songs Uzi chose for the project, and felt that more of his early 2017 unreleased songs had more promise, but I still really enjoy the project to this day.
It is sad though that this is probably the last we will see of the original Uzi lineup (Uzi x Cannon x Drama x K Lee x the OG producers). I don't think we will ever get the quality control that Cannon and Drama provided, the mixing from K Lee (I think her and Uzi had a falling out but who knows it may be reconciled now), or have Maaly/Lyle/Metro/Cannon production consistently ever again. Sad to say but the album was the end of an era and the beginning of the most painful period of being an Uzi fan.
I wonder if one day he will make the series a trilogy, only time will tell.

I def like the first Luv is Rage way more, the highs of LIR2 are really good and as good as anything on the first one, but there is like 5-6 songs that i never listen to. the production though.... it really is sad that Uzi doesnt work with his old team of producers anymore, they really had something special going with the sound of his projects back then
